- Area description
- The beach of Alcudia is located in the Bay of Alcuda and it stretches out over 8.5 Km, thus making this the main attraction of the tourist resort of Alcudia. As we leave the beach, we find many lakes and canals forming part of the Albufera wetlands of Mallorca, which have been turned into the Albufera Natural Park, a large area conserved in its natural state. The Puerto de Alcudia beach covers an area of approximately 2,000 m long by 50 m wide, of the extensive beach with runs along the entire Bay of Alcudia, with fine white sand. Pollentia: Roman city which was discovered in the 16th Century, it was the capital city of the Balearics of the Roman Empire. Still conserved is the forum, the theatre and the monographic museum. Formentor: Narrow headland on the North Coast of the Island of Mallorca, it's one of the most emblematic sights of the area.
