Central sophistication and panache

The Hotel Continental has an excellent location for both business travelers and tourists who wish to utilize the close proximity of the hotel to the center of Palma. The exterior of the hotel is grand and inviting, with architectural splendor. The restaurant at the Hotel Continental has a spectacular glass ceiling that opens the room to an abundance of natural light. The restaurant serves international cuisine but the chefs will also make an effort to visit local markets and cook seasonal products.

The Hotel Continental has 52 rooms, all offering spacious, bright and comfortable accommodations. The rooms have a simple yet cozy decor style, with a mixture of British décor and traditional Majorcan colors; thus creating a warm and relaxing ambience. Good location with lovely interior

The hotel was a short walk to the harbor. It was a longer walk to the cathedral than I thought, but not bad. It was close to a fashionable shopping street. The interior was nice. Our bathroom was very large. The traffic noise was a bit loud, but it was nice having a small balcony. The room was a very good size. The breakfast room was beautiful. The front desk was very helpful with all our requests. We would return to this hotel again.

Sightseeing tip: Long walk from hotel

Be sure not to miss the cathedral and the park next to it. I visited other cathedrals during my trip to Spain, and this one was the most spectacular. The setting was gorgeous as well.

Not too great

The rooms at the Continental are large, but that is the best thing it has going for it. The beds smelled like smoke, the staff was rude, and the location was just enough out of the way to make it annoying. Also, they charge by the person, so when they saw my friend was staying with me they tried to charge us an extra 40 euro per night (we got it down to 25).

Nightlife tip: Short drive from hotel

Don't waste your time at the bars and clubs in the Palma city center, the clubs outside the city are where it is at.
