Balear Hotel Mallorca Island

Our double room on the 4th floor was outdated and musty. The bathroom - so small and cramped with a sit-only tub + shower and the toilet squashed in next to the bath which made ablutions very uncomfortable and we had to use the toilet in the lounge area. The balcony was large with plastic table and chairs - but unbearable to sit outside with the sewage smell permeating from the toilet ventilation pipes. Situated centrally - walking distance to beach, bus stops and eateries.

We stayed at this hotel only last week and we had a fabulous time. It is in the most perfect location within reach to bars, restaurants, beach and airport. There is a market on Tues and Thurs situated in front of the hotel. The hotel was clean and comfortable and there was clean linen and towels everyday. The staff were very friendly and helpful, always on hand to give information. There are buses running all day and it only costs 1.50 euro for the ride into Palma. There is also a road train that will take you down the front to Arenal. Bike hire is also very popular. Palma aquarium is a 10 minute walk away.

Missing TV, Air Conditioner was very hat.

I went to Palma to ride my bike. Even though my bike was late, one day. I had a great time. The Hotel was perfect for our needs. The rooms are small, but very nice. Our room (209) over looks the Piazza. It has a balcony to just sit and watch the local market set up on tuesdays or just to see the kids playing soccer. The location and the family run hotel made our stay great. Breakfast was free and it was good. Very euro with pastries, cereal, cold cuts and fruit. I would go back to this hotel..and I recommend it as a great base for sightseeing or whatever...Palma is nice and so is this hotel.

This hotel is good if you are planning to stay on the island for a short time. The staff are excellent, they will help you out eith anything, food recommendations, transportation, tours, you name it. However, we did have a few issues with the hotel itself. Our shower didn't work properly and hot water was non existent, even at 6am. The walls in the room are paper thin, you hear everything at all hours of the night. There is a taxi stand right outside the hotel which is great but the drivers sit outside and chat until 3am, there is also a little courtyard in the front that amplifies sound. The beach and Playa de Palma are very close. There are bakeries right next door to the hotel. Restaurants are very close as well. The Aquarium is walking distance probably 10-15 minutes. If you want Tapas walk strait behind the hotel to "flip flop" bar cafe. Great food. If we go back to Mallorca for a short time we would consider staying here again for the fact alone on how helpful the front desk was, they speak English German and Spanish. We would request a room in the back of the hotel, that would sacrifice some view but at least it might be quieter.

TV in the room was not working. Neither the Telephone.

Mukava perhehotelli Platjan laidalla. Hiljainen kaupunginosa, josta ei kuitenkaan pitkä matka minnekään. Erittäin hyvä palvelu ja mukava henkilökunta.

Hôtel très agréable, personnel très agréable aussi .

All personal var oerhört vänlig, trevlig och tillmötesgående. Både i receptionen, matsalen och städpersonal. Läget ett stenkast från den fina stranden och bra bussförbindelser till Palma gör att jag gärna kommer hit igen.

Aluksi saimme huoneen, jossa haisi vahvasti viemäri. Tuskallisessa hajussa jouduimme viettämään ensimmäisen yön. Huoneen vaihto ei onnistunut heti, mutta seuraavana päivänä saimme 60,- lisämaksusta vaihdetuksi sen suiteksi. Sen jälkeen: hyvä hotelli, hyvä paikka ja ystävällinen henkilökunta. Aamiainen ei loistokas, mutta riittävä.
