The Parador is located alongside the castle of the same name. A simpler way of getting there, if coming from the dual-carriageway from Algeciras or the dual-carriageway from Antequera, Granada, Cordoba, Sevilla and Madrid (A-45) is to take the Ronda de Malaga towards Almeria-Motril and take the turn-off for 'Limonar' at km. 244. From here follow signs for Gibralfaro Castle or those for the Parador itself. This same exit is taken if coming from Almeria-Nerja.
