Relax in Picasso’s favorite chair after a rubdown and a gourmet meal
The Hotel MS Maestranza is just minutes away from the Picasso Museum, the beach, and countless other tourist landmarks in Malaga. The hotel itself is a four-star affair, with a breakfast buffet available every morning, along with an on-site restaurant, solarium, sauna, Jacuzzi, gymnasium, and massage services (fees apply). Business guests are provided access to meeting rooms. Plenty of parking space is available at the Maestranza, though fees may apply. Also worth noting is the hotel's gay-friendly atmosphere.

Excellent location and comfortable room
The rooms were clean with the latest technology and lovely decor. The location is near the castle, the fort, the downtown and the sea. The wireless was free and it worked. There is a nice cafe next door, more cafes down the street, and two banks available next door for exchanging money. The bathrooms in the hotel were especially nice. I stayed in other rooms this week in Madrid and Barcelona but this was the most comfortable accommodations that I had. I could actually see the sea out my window and the fort. As well.

gute Lage, mittelmässiges Hotel
Die Lage ist der Wahnsinn (man ist sofort am Strand und auch in der Stadt) auch das Personal war überdurchschnittlich freundlich. Das Hotel ist aber eher becheiden. Altmodisch mit dunkler Einrichtung, Bad war lieblos geputzt und auch im restlichen Zimmer wurde nur schnell gewischt. Sauberkeit also nicht besonders gut. Das Bad war auch schon zu viel gebraucht. Dunkle Fugen und der Lack vom Duschkopf ist abgefallen. Der Blick aus unserem Zimmer war großartig doch rund ums Hotel ist eine viel befahrene Strasse. (Lärm) Am meisten enttäuscht war ich vom angeblichen SPA Bereich! War gratis bei der Buchung dabei, allerdings hätte ich da nicht einmal eine Zehe rein gehalten. Ein winziger Whirlpool umgeben von altem Holz teils ohne Lack, liebloser Bereich. Zwei Saunen die auch nicht funktionierten, was nicht verwunderlich war weil sehr alt und dreckig und auch zum Teil kaputt. Also SPA ist ein Lockangebot auf das man verzichten kann. Was wirklich nochmal hervor zu heben ist ist die Freundlichkeit des Personals. Über das Essen kann ich nichts sagen, da wir nie im Hotel gegessen haben.
