Worked out Good
Pros -Good value for price ($52/night) -safe to walk around at night by myself (25yr male) -friendly staff that speaks english -10 min walk from subway/ bus stop right in front of hotel. -clean rooms, clean showers -local grocery store next door open until 2am Cons -No authentic traditional restaurants around. -A/C wouldn't get cold, I opened a window to cool off at night. -bed was really firm, pillows were flat. (not that big of deal) -away from the city center, so 10 min walk to subway was tiring. NOTE: subway closes at 1am. -1 towel, washcloth, hand towel. Summary -For the price, It's exactly what I expected. It was a safe, quiet and clean place to lay my head when I wasn't out exploring. Wasn't anything special, but it was perfectly fine for a place to crash. I would recommend it to anybody looking to stay in Madrid. I'm 25yr male, and I wish I would of stayed closer to the city center. With the subway closing at 1am and me being "cost conscious" it gave me a 1am curfew. I would have rather stayed out at the bars and stumble back to a local hostel, but that's just me. Plus walking around and touring the sites made me sweat quite a bit, so going back and forth to the hotel to shower and change became exhausting to walk to/from the station. But you can always take a taxi, I just didn't want to spend the money on a taxi. A/C was the worst part. Price was the best part. 4 out of 5 stars

Not Applicable
There's not much around, so if you plan on staying out late downtown, plan on taking a taxi back to the hotel as the subway closes at 1am. Not sure about the buses.

Good stay
Nice clean hotel.... A little far from downtown Madrid though, and the nearest metro was about a mile walk. Breakfast was expensive at 7,50 eur/person

Nice, cosy, simple
The bad things were that the toilet brush and a place to hang the wet towels were missing. The charge for the Internet was surprisingly high and the Internet PC not working but this seemed normal. The room were nice and clean and bright. The breakfast (extra charge) was quite good with a fine coffee. The best thing is the Bus stop in front of the hotel and a Metro station in 5 min. reach.

Perfect for what we needed
For the price this hotel couldn't have been better. Nice simple room clean with nice shower. Breakfast overpriced and not much to it. Bus stop right outside and a metro a few blocks away. It's situated in between downtown and the airport so it works out quite well and you get to stay in a quiet part of Madrid. Would stay there again!

Great value for the money
Overall, my husband and I were very pleased with the stay at this hotel. It is conveniently located, with bus stop right across the street and it only took about 20-30 minutes to get to center of Madrid. The employees were really helpful and friendly. The only bad thing about the hotel was noisy cleaning ladies. Internet and parking is a little expensive too.
