Wonderfully situated

A short walk from the Prado, and near lots of restaurants. Very well placed. The reception staff are very charming, and very helpful. Good value for money. Only small glitch, no tea or coffee maker. Nice breakfast (charged separately at 7E.50). I don't think they do dinner, but with so many places around, you don't need it. A good place for sightseers with no children.

Great Hotel in a Fab Location

Great location. Friendly helpful staff who were happy to give advice about where to eat, jazz clubs, etc. Spacious room which was very clean and serviced daily. Powerful shower with plenty of hot water. Very comfortable bed. The only thing that lets the hotel down is a lack of lounge or space to sit in afternoon's /evenings when weather not great and you just want to read a book/chill rather than sit in the room. In the summer you can sit at one of the many restaurants in the square so not so important/relevant. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Nightlife tip: Short walk from hotel

If you want to visit a jazz club it is best to pre-book so that you get a good seat and don't have to get to the club so early to reserve a seat

Great location, modern room, great staff

Their rooms are "euro-modern, so they are relatively small and not great for "hangin out." But, we were out all day, so not bad. Good free wireless internet, excellent breakfast, and the staff recommendations on restaurants were fantastic. Great location and overall friendly helpful staff make it a good choice.
