Get away without kids

We were looking for an awesome time without the kids. We ended up not being able to sleep because the AC barely worked and the front desk just told us that no one complained before. The refrigerator was not cold. We were hot and sweaty and miserable.

Birthday Trip to Spain

My partner and I had spend the second part of our trip in Spain in Madrid. This hotel was in our budget and centrally located. We saw it also got pretty good reviews so we took a chance. We had an updated room with a balcony. It was small but it was fine. The only problems we had were that it was very noisy at night from the city streets and people in the hallways.

Great location,helpful staff

Stayed 3 nights last week, easy to get to from the airport,a 3 day metro and bus pass was about 16 é.It's located right at a metro station and practically everything you want to see is in walking distance. We arrived early in the morning in the hope of leaving our bags but we were allowed check-in straight away. Didn't do b&b but we had breakfast there one of the days, excellent value in the café at the front of the hotel.Sliding glass door to the en-suite my only gripe,a bit intimate for my liking!

This hotel is located right off the metro and near the Plaza Del Sol. We were able to walk to the Prado and the palace from here.

Ideal location

Room lovely size with large windows in the bedroom and bathroom along with air conditioning. Staff very friendly, especially the hotel personal assistant who was on hand to assist in any way possible. Metro (Seville) station immediately outside the front door but the majority of interesting sites are actually within walking distance from the hotel. Only drawback was the restaurant was slightly expensive but this didn't really matter in view of the numerous restaurants/cafe in the general location.

Money-saving tip: Not Applicable

City sightseeing tour is good but cost €25 for two days. Metro tickets are much cheaper with most amenities, historical sites and museums within walking distance.

Excellent site and service

This hotel could not have been situated aby better to visit the various sites in Madrid. The room (we upgraded to a superior room ) was very good. Staff were impeccable and very helpful. Breakfast and main dinner was discounted if you were a resident which was a pleasanr surprise.. Recommend use of the Metro as convenient and cheap. Taxi from airport was a rip off (offer exact cost- 30 euros). Shuttle back to airport from hotel was cheaper and very good. Over all we are planning to go back in September, same hotel hopefully.as it was such a good experience.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Try tapas bar next to El Cortes Ingles (Puerta del Sol). Also one or two places around the Playa el Mayor. . LHardy was also good but higher price.
