I stayed here in July 2010 and I was very disappointed and frustrated when I arrived to this place. First of all when I arrived to Madrid I came from another city in Spain by train and thinking this hotel was not to far I took a taxi which ended
up costing me 50 euro. Upon arriving to the hotel the staff was friendly and they gave me a free map and showed me who to get to central Madrid to go to all of the attractions/museums they said it was not far but every day it took me 40 minutes to 1 hour to get to where I was going. The hotel is within walking distance to the train stop which takes you closer to Madrid so you can get on the metro. This hotel is located in an industrial area and there is not much as far as entertainment and restaurants. The only place to eat with in walking distance was a McDonald's and a movie theater. The hotel itself had a small cafe which did not have a very good variety of food and closed early but they did have good cafe con leche. The wireless internet was horrible I was there 4 days and could not get connected first I was told it was not working and it would be fixed the next day after it was supposedly fixed it still did not work. I tried using their computer they have in the lobby and the internet connection was horrible there as well. I was also very disappointed on how early the metro and trains closed and I was not really able to experience the nightlife in Madrid which pops off around midnight and the metros close at 1:30am
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
Short walk from hotel
The only perk to this hotel was the movie theater a few blocks away. I ended up watching a movie there after getting tired of the commute to Madrid. The theater is very nice by the way.
