Stupendous stay!
Needed to preposition myself at a hotel near Madrid's airport for a flight home the next day. This hotel was perfect. Got picked up within 20 min at the airport hotel bus stop. At the hotel within 10 min and checked in and in my room in 5. Spotless and spacious room with all amenities including free wi-fi. Arranged for the free shuttle the next day and delivered punctually to the correct terminal. The fixed price dinner was excellent and reasonable. Although not witin walking distance from the famous museums, it would have been doable by bus or metro.

Great In Every Way
This was our stopover on the way back to NYC from the month in Italy and Spain. It was a perfect last stop, offering some of the best features we'd been enjoying about the many great hotels we'd visited on our vacation. It is ultra-modern yet warm and relaxed. It provides easy shuttle service to Barajas and great service overall. The design team for this property should be proud of their work. It's a nice place to stay, and seems to be considered a nice place to work as well.

Not really so far, and straight down the road, is a very large indoor mall with a supermarket, restaurants, and lots of shops. Take earplugs though, the place is LOUD.

Convenient near-airport location
Contrary to an earlier review, the hotel does provide its own airport-shuttle van, available on request (for flight connections only). We did not use it as we had a rental car. Underground parking is costly, but we were able to park on the street. We took a cab to the airport to get to the Metro to downtown for the evening, and that cost about E13 (with a supplement) although the ride was only less than 10 minutes. The restaurant menu is quite limited but OK for a quick meal. We spent a quiet afternoon by the pool. Finding the hotel and getting back to the airport by car is challenging because of the spaghetti of highways in the area. Our GPS was quite helpful.

Unexpected jewel!
Because of a last minute layover in Madrid, I looked online for a hotel close to the airport that was convenient, inexpensive, and clean. This hotel is far nicer that expected. Everything is clean and fresh and beautifully decorated. The staff is professional and very helpful with anything you need. The breakfast was great with a nice assortment of hot and cold items.

Hotel will be nice once it's done
Nice, modern hotel but it's still under construction so they don't have many of the facilities mentioned on the web site. In fact, other than the rooms, there is a bar and restaurant and a pool that is only open during the summer. The hotel staff are generally friendly but some can be prickly if you are an English-speaker. There are only Spanish language newspapers available.

There is a bus stop very near the hotel. I think all of the bus's that stop there go to/from one of the large Metro stations, so taking public transit from the hotel is quite easy.

Cute hotel, poor location
The hotel was very beautiful and clean but the website was very unclear about its shuttle service from the airport. The night manager was unhelpful but that was more than made up for by the morning staff who were polite and willing to help.

The hotel is unclear about its shuttle service because it doesn't have a shuttle. You must call the hotel prior to landing at the airport and they will arrange and pay for a taxi to pick you up. This service is only available if you are going from the airport to the hotel or vice versa.
