Exceptional design, average service
Hotel design and amenities are great including a spa, bicycles you can borrow, delicious breakfast, splendid rooms with wooden floor and a large bathroom, exposed beams in top-floor rooms, etc. Location is also perfect with many landmarks, restaurants and metro stations at walking distance. However, there is room for improvement on service quality. We had to carry our suitcase to our room, request different passwords every 24 hours for Internet access for each device, deal with receptionists who were very polite and helpful but not really friendly, wait 15 minutes to get our luggage from the porter, etc. All in all, a very good experience that could have been exceptional with that little extra something that only people can bring...

Very warm welcome
We were offered a glass of champagne as soon we arrived at the reception, the staff was very friendly and helpfull. Free use of the spa, and the interior design is very beautiful. Breakfast buffet very good, we really enjoyed our stay.

El Rincon de Esteban, very friendly staff and excellent food for a very good price, and you get a lot of extras, really good value and beautiful decoration, not too many tables, I think it sits max. 40. Absolute privacy, people can not see you from the street. The funny thing is, as soon we approached the entrance, a waiter opened already the door for us,

Sehr sauber und sonnige Zimmer mit hohem Komfort. Personal freundlich und zuvorkommend. Gute und preiswerte Verpflegungsmöglichkeit. Metrostation Retiro in 100 m erreichbar. Altstadt auch zu Fuss bestens erreichbar. Bei mehr als 2 Nächten wird grosszügiger Rabatt gewährt. Ich würde das Hotel wieder wählen. H.R. Widmer, Schweiz
