Very convenient
Hotel 33 had a great location (1/2 block from Plaza Espana metro) and very friendly staff. Rooms included kitchenette as well. Very satisfied.

This Hotel is conveniently placed
This Hotel is conveniently placed in the middle of a charming, quiet street. A taxi ride to the hotel from the main train station (which is next to the bus station) is 5 Euros. There is also a metro station nearby, a short 5 min walk that links you to the main metro station, which is connected to the shopping area of Madrid. The hotel reception is brisk, not exactly friendly but helpful. The hotel room is quite comfortably large, going by European standards and we were pleasantly surprised. A good steal for the price if you book via internet!

If you need just a comfy bed and a nice bathroom Suites 33 is the place. Helspsome staff at reception and in good range of Metro and old city. Ask for a room with street view/balcony.

Very good experience
Hotel is very clean, extremely quite. Location good and central to Madrid tourist sites, though located on a side street that's a bit scruffy -- definitely NOT dangerous, though. Good staff -- friendly and no problems with any of them. Very good value for what we paid. Only negative is that although the room was equipped with a kitchenette (fridge, microwave, cabinets, kitchen sink), no plates, cups or utensils were provided. Strange! Is the traveler supposed to travel with his own?

Hotel Suites 33
Very friendly staff. The location is very, very good. Just a few steps away from Plaza España. The room was clean and comfortable. Also it was bigger than we thought.

Just what we wanted
Very clean. Stylish. Great Location. Great value. Nothing we didn't need. No big lobby, or breakfast etc. Just a great place for great value.

Decent hotel
The hotel was in a nice location as it was very close to the metro. Unfortunately, the beds were incredibly hard and you had to take very quick showers as there was very limited hot water.

Hotel Suites 33
Room was all right, but air conditioning hard to adjust so was quite hot. until staff finally fixed it. Location was good.

Many Better Options In Madrid
The street although off of Gran Via, felt unsafe. The bed wasn't made, there was no shower curtain, and there were odd stains everywhere.
