A coffee bar next to the lobby, WIFI Internet access in the whole building and a lobby bar make this hotel ideal for both business and leisure travellers. (AB08/06) With a brick facade and large beautiful windows, this modern hotel has six floors and is typical of the buildings that were found in the Salamanca quarter in the 19th Century. Housed in an early 20th-century building in the Barrio Salamanca district of Madrid, one of the city's most exclusive shopping and business areas. The closest metro station Velazquez is just 100 metres away.

Room OK But Nothing Other

On checking in it came apparent the staff where not going to be the most friendly and helpful and so it became apparent. The Bed rooms were functional, clean but a bit dark. There was no one on duty at the bar at the two occasions we dare visit it to the point even after asking for service we gave in. Breakfast was adequate but not thrilling with many tables left dirty and unserviced. Asking help at reception with contacting our flight operator (due to the troubles with volcanic dust) seemed like drawing blood out of a stone-infact we only managed a number and was told to go on the street to a pay phone - thanks. over all not impressed which is ashame.

Great smaller hotel, very charming.

We were very pleased with our selection of this hotel for our stay in Madrid! It was convenient to the metro, great shopping, and in a great neighborhood with very nice restaurants. We'd recommend it to others seeking a nice, smaller hotel with Spanish charm.
