In the heart of La Gran Via
One of the advantages of the hotel is its location. Coming out of the hotel if you turn right you are very near to the streets of old Madrid where Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, etc. are found; if you turn left, you will see one of the most famous avenues, La Gran Via with its modern shops, libraries and restaurants. The shuttle announced is a private one for which one has to pay 24 euros (about $34.00).

I recommend to choose a hotel that includes breakfast, otherwise you will spend about $32.00 for a continental breakfast for two persons.Restaurants and cafeterias are expensive. In Spain the bus service is very effective so take a bus and not the metro so that you can see the city.

Excellent central location off
Excellent central location off Puerta del Sol just a few minutes' walk from Plaza Mayor and Callao. We had a room at the back which was very quiet. Good selection hot/cold food for breakfast and friendly staff. You need to ask for a tea/coffee tray if you want one in your room.

Tole Lage, wir hatten ein Zimmer in den Hinter -hof, keine schöne Aussicht aber sehr ruhig. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Das Hotel ist nicht oberste Klasse, aber zum schlafen, duschen und frühstücken ist es ideal. Nahe der Metrostation Gran Via und Callao, kurzer Fussweg zur Puerta del Sol

Sehr zentral, dennoch ruhig, freundlicher Service
Ein perfekt gelegenes Hotel an der Gran Via, Shoppen, Museen, Ausgehen fußläufig erreichbar. Shuttle service vom/zum Flughafen für 29 € pro Fahrt. Happy Hour von 18.00 bis 20.00 Uhr mit Sekt zum Nulltarif und Tapas zu erschwinglichen Preisen. Die Zimmer gehen teilweise zum Hinterhof, der nicht schön aber dafür ruhig ist. Größe von Zimmer und Bad für ein Großstadthotel sehr gemütlich und ausreichend groß. Alle vom Personal waren sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und hatten ein Lächeln für uns parat.

Fantastisches Städtehotel
Ich war mit einem Kollegen 4 Nächte in diesem Hotel, der erste Eindruck war überragend - ein Eingang wie es sich normalerweise für Könige gedacht ist ;) - doch im Zimmer angekommen, war das Ergebnis ernüchternd. Es war nicht überall sauber geputzt, es hat sehr stark nach Rauch gerochen (gut es war ein Raucherzimmer aber trotzdem hätte man Raumspray verwenden können) und das Fenster war einbisschen defekt. aber alles in allem ein sehr gutes Hotel mit mehrheitlich freundlichem Personal und traumhafter Lage - gerade im Zentrum an der Shopping Strasse. Ich werde es sicher wieder buchen wenn ich das nächste mal nach Madrid gehe...

Mukava matka
Liikenteen meteli ainoa häiritsevä seikka tässä hotelissa koska huoneemme sijaitsi pääkadun puolella. Aamiainen oli kattava, jonka avuin jaksoi lähteä liikenteeseen ja pärjäsi iltapäivään saakka. Yllätys oli kun lähtiessä iskettiin aamiaislasku eteen,me mielestämme valitsimme hotellin jossa aamiainen kuuluu hintaan?
