Go on a pub crawl ! pick the one by the bear by the sol metro station especially if its your first few days and you have no idea where about are the clubs :)

Wonderful family getaway
The entire stay was good and comfortable. The location of the hotel is a little away from the city however is manageable to travel around. The supermarket is 5 blocks away and a small cafe is across the street from the supermarket. Need to plan out ahead of time with bus route and metro. The metro will take you to the airport with one transfer. The bus number 20 stops two streets down on your left will take you to the center of the city. Enjoy your stay in Madrid it is nice city with a lot of options of food and drink.

AMAZING.
This hotel is by-far one of the nicest hotels that I've stayed in while traveling. The rooms are immaculate and the one we had was very large (on the top floor, with a beautiful view of madrid and a balcony). The staff were incredibly helpful and willing to do anything to make our stay better. For example, a towel rack in the bathroom broke and when we called the front desk they said not to worry and it would be fixed before we returned from dinner. As promised, it was, no questions asked. The hotel is very close to a metro stop, which is nice for getting into the city. The bed was very comfortable and clean. While we didn't eat there, the hotel restaurant had a menu that looked very good and relatively (as far as hotel prices go) inexpensive. A nice touch on top of their service is a welcoming chocolate truffle and chocolate strawberries plate when you first check-in to the room. Honestly, I can't think of a downside or bad thing to say about this hotel. We booked early, too, which definitely kept the room price down (as I could imagine it might get a little pricey).

Staff very helpful with everyt
Staff very helpful with everything. Super value for a very reasonable price. Although the hotel is at the in the strict city centre the underground station is just 200m away. The hotel is surrounded by calm park and nice restaurants. Very quiet at night. Big rooms with nice bathrooms. Free wireless Internet in rooms.

Positive: Very good hotel good location with the highway and principal street, beautiful decoration, good space in the room, very conform crib for my baby, good lobby decoration. Negative: In the American Building not have bar area to obtain service we need to cross to the another building Europa and wait for other people to up my child car by the stair.

Decent place to stay
This hotel was staffed by very pleasant people, seeming as if at least one English-speaking staff present at all times. The hotel was a short walk to the metro so easy to get to more active parts of the city. The beds were not that comfortable but not bad enough to hamper sleep. Very modern bathroom with wonderful water pressure!
