Free Wifi, Free shuttle to/from airport and being near a mall (10 min walking)-it can't be better!
I was impressed with how clean the hotel is. I paid a lot more for another hotel before arriving to Madrid, but nothing compared to Axor Feria.
Staff is friendly.
I am definitely coming back to this hotel whenever I am in Madrid!
The Axor Feria is a great hotel! It is clean, well maintained, comfortable, and sports good overall service. Their free airport shuttle is a total plus, especially when landing from a transatlantic flight. There is nothing better than to simply
walk out of the airport, wait for the hotel shuttle to arrive, and check-in for much needed rest. It is well located for arrival and departure from Madrid’s Barajas Airport, with a drive time from the airport to the hotel of about 10-minutes. If you are planning to stay and explore Madrid for a few days, it is a bit too far from the city center and inconvenient. You would have to take a 40-minute (+/-) subway ride to get to Madrid’s main areas. But as an arrival/departure base point, this hotel is great! Cost wise, it is also a bargain when compared to more centrally located hotels.
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
Short walk from hotel
A short walk from the hotel is the Centro Comercial Plenilunio (a mall). You will find food and tapas well into the night. The stores close at 10:00pm, but restaurants, where you can find all sorts of food, tapas, beer, coffee remain open well into the night (1:00am Sunday to Thursday and 3:00am Fridays and Saturdays). You can also walk to El Capricho subway station from the hotel. It’d take about 30 minutes to get there through neighborhood streets. It is a nice stroll overall.
Due to the flught schedule, we stayed over night in that hotel to catch the plain. The hotel provide shuttle service a round trip from the airport to the holte. On top of that the room charge is very satisfactory. So, I recommend this hotel very
