Axor Feria Madrid Hotel

Receptionist was very kurt, but process was overall painless. Loved the shower! Free wifi, ac, nice bed can't be beat. Shuttle took 40 mins to leave almost making us late for our flight.

Nice internet connection, (slightly overpriced) nice breakfast, decent bar, comfy bed.... It is not the place to stay to tour Madrid as there is not a lot close to the hotel. However, there are some nice restaurants and a shopping center close by. Nothing quintessentially Spanish...mostly chains, but...nice. We walked and found a great spot for dinner. They have a free shuttle to the airport every 30 minutes as well.

The hotel has a convenient shuttle to the airport and was extremely clean and chic. There is a mall within walking distance.

Hotel is nice for anyone wanting to get to the airport. We had already seen all the sites in Madrid so we just wanted a nice cheaper place to stay out by the airport in Madrid and this was good for us. The only complaint we have is regarding the free shuttle service. We waited at the airport for over 40 minutes before giving up and taking a cab the 10 minute drive to the hotel which cost us about 14 euro. The hotel advertises that the shuttle runs every 30 minutes but when carying a large back pack and some other gear we didn't feel like waiting. If taking the bus the next morning be prepared to get up way earlier than you would think. There are allot of people wanting to take the shuttle which can make for some people being left behind to wait for the next bus - or again taking a taxi. We thought because it was closer to the airport it would be more convenient but we may have been better of staying somewhere close to a metro station as well. If you want food or entertainment here about the only thing going is a large mall within a couple blocks that has a bunch of fast food and other sit down restaraunts, a bowling alley, and a movie theater. Other than that the trip into the city is a long one since again you would have to take the shuttle to the airport, then catch between 2 and 3 different metro lines to get to the city. Also make sure to bring your receipt if you pre pay for the hotel. They couldn't find me in their system even though I had a reservation and it was fully paid well in advance.

Transferred to this hotel the night before a flight and was happy I did. The airport is a trek from the city and the free hotel airport shuttle makes an early flight much easier. Also, has a great breakfast so you're good to go for a day on an airplane.

This hotel is a great hotel to stay at if you are trying out Madrid on the cheap or are in town simply for a one day business trip. The good stuff first. (1) Free airport shuttle every 30 mins on the dot like clock work. (2) Free internet wifi in all rooms and throughout hotel (3) Free breakfast if booked online (4) Cheap under 100E usually. The only bad thing, if you want to call it bad, is that its a distance from the city. It will cost you about 30E to take a taxi into the city. However, if you are like me and my wife we had no set schedule. We actually rode the shuttle back to the airport, 5 min, and rode the metro into the city, 35min, and hung out downtown all day. At night did the same thing in reverse. Breakfast is awesome! Beautiful meats and cheeses. Sweet breads!

Not much different from the Axor Barajas (which is more expensive), except there are no toiletries in the rooms (you have to individually ask for these at reception). There is also no restaurant. Overall, cheap and efficient. Huge shopping mall nearby.

It was a nice hotel... a comfortable room, big bed, great bathroom. The location was poor... very industrial, not very central to the major sites, and a bit of a walk from the closest metro stop. Had this place been in a better location, it would have been gotten 2 thumbs up. Would stay there again, but the walk to the metro was annoying. For the price, it was not bad at all.

Typical modern ‘airport’ hotel. Large room, very clean, hard beds. No tea making. Free internet. Staff a bit reserved. Nothing much around the hotel: the large shopping center near it is ‘pay-to-get-in’ but does have cafes outside to eat at. (Restaurant in sister-hotel next door.) Free shuttle bus from bus stand calls at all airport terminals. Runs every half-hour early until late: brown with ‘Axor Feria’ in white writing. Would stay there again (for one night anyway).

Excellent 3 star quiet Hotel with free shuttle to/from airport. Huge shower recess. You won't find better for the price.
