If our experience is anything to go by the customer relations at this hotel leave much to be desired. My wife and I arrived at Reception to check in to be told they had no record of our reservation of a standard room with sea view room and there
was only one standard room available for our first night which we had no choice but to accept. The room we had for the first night (No. 206) was down almost below ground level facing concrete walls and a service entrance to the air conditioning unit or something similar the noise of which drowned our conversation. The manager next day offered us a room on the third floor (No. 3237) which had a distant sea view. The only recompense we were offered was the free use of the room safe and a couple of hours late check-out. A gesture of some sort by way of an apology such as a bottle of champagne or wine would have made up for this, but nothing of the sort. As regards the breakfasts, these were good with plenty of choice but what other guests have said about the lack of cleared tables after about 9am is quite correct as we saw evidence of this every day. Luckily we were okay so long as we got there before 8.30. There were simply not enough staff for the numbers of guests ( in November). We were also surprised to find we had to pay for use of the indoor pool, spa and gym. For what we paid for bed and breakfast, including a promotional discount, the price was fair. We have stayed in better four star hotels so would grade this at the lower end of four.
