Don't do it-pictures of another hotel
This hotel is not located on the beach as the pictures indicate. The pool also leaves quite a bit...

Sol Bay II Apartments - bargain
We went to Ibiza for a vacation. The apartments are in Sol Bay, so it is not so much like a hotel. Upon arrival, the hotel staff was very friendly. However, we did have to log our suitcases up the stairs, no elevator, good thing it was only 1st floor. The location is decent, as it is probably the best value for Ibiza and we stayed there over the weekend. It is very easy to get around. Cheapest way is the bus, which runs every 30 min (not bad at all if you know the schedule). Thus bus stops in San Antonio, which is pretty much where all the bars, young people and the nightlife is. When you get to San Antonio, it is almost like a strip with bars, and places to visit. One of the streets, called West End has a ton of places. I noticed a whole lot of British people there. Mostly, everyone speaks English, so it is easy to ask around. Also, the beaches are close to get to. If you want a better beach, you may need to take 2 buses to some, such as Bora Bora. The hotel staff was also very helpful with what to see and what to do. We were recomended to go to Formetera island, for which you would need to take a water taxi (2 min from Sol Bay Apartments) to San Antonio and there get on another boat going to that island, most definitely worth it. The taxi to the island is about 30 euros. The beach there is absolutely gorgeous and the water and view is unforgettable. All in all, I am satisfied with the service and the location of these apartments for the price we paid since hardly any time was spent in the room. I would definitely recommend this more for a vacation, relaxation with friends. Not sure about this being a family setting, even though there are a lot of things in San Antonio to do for the kids. Hope this is helpful.

Nightlife tip:
Short drive from hotel
about 20 min bus ride to San Antonio and you are in the heart of night life. Cafe Del Mar is the place to be around 8 pm if you want to hang with some young people and watch a beautiful sunset.

This hotel is not located on the beach as the pictures indicate. The pool also leaves quite a bit to be desired. The lobby was full of trash when we arrived, and most days the cushions to the lobby couches were gone. Do not stay here unless you are searching for an unsavory experience.
