suprisingly good!!!!
we expected a very low level hotel for the really cheap price. but the hotel was unexpectetly good - calm, clean and the staff was friendly - good value for the money.

Reco d'es Sol Review
Great location just off the bay and short walk to San Antoni. Just don't get a room by the pool or by the main entrance! Loud noises at all times of the day from clubbers coming in at different times. Staff were very friendly especially at bar and front desk.

Great hotel, ok location
This hotel is located in San Antonio region of Ibiza which is about 30 minutes away from the airport. Beware you will be paying for many taxis to get to the city of Ibiza and the big major clubs. THe only two major clubs next to the hotel (within walking distance) are Eden and es Paradis. You need to take a taxis (or bus if your ticket comes with it or you leave early enough) Pacha, Privilege, Amnesia, and Space. All of these clubs are about 15 - 30 mins away in a taxi, with Privilege being the closest. The benefit of staying in San Antonio is that you are close to the West End (where all the bars are), cafe del mar and easy access to beaches (hope on the bus). Also, its a lot cheaper than staying in Ibiza town. As for Recon des Sol, rooms are apartment style so housekeeping only comes two times a week, which was a downfall for me because we had a leak in our shower and ended up using all our towels the first night. There was no one to give us towels until the next morning. The staff is very friendly and the pool is a decent size with lots of chairs. If you don't have a beach towel, you can borrow one from the hotel ... you will need to give them a 10 euro desposit which is returned to you when you return the towel. Because its apartment style your stay doesn't come with breakfast, however, I did see signs you can order it for 6 euros. There are plenty of restaurants nearby where you can eat from. Also, there is a restaruant/bar called Itaca where you can get free wireless so be sure to bring your laptop. Lastly, you can buy tickets for the clubs anywhere including the hotel, there are all the same price. Just check around because some places offer free bus rides or free drinks.
