Ibiza Gran Hotel

Before arrival, We've read a lot of reviews, and started to worry about the smell , that was described by many people. However, there was no smell at the hotel at all. The lobby smelled like expensive parfumerie shop somewhere in Paris, the art was very sophisticated, all that created the aura of great relaxing place. There was not a single thing that was unpleasant about the hotel. The only thing is their *front yard*, that has some kind of sewage canal. We guessed, that the management is dealing with that by spraying the lobby with expensive air purifier. They will get around evantually and cover the canal somehow.right now it is separated from the entrance by some flimsy fence. The bar, the pool, the lobby, the library, everything is very thouroughly thought through. There was no kids roaming around, which is very good, especially when people spend so much money to relax. The occasional loud guests, like russians, sitting in the lobby with the whole bottle of scotch and sexless leggy blondes, seemed more like an entertainment, then nuisance.

Ibiza Gran Hotel is at an excellent location with a fantastic view of the harbor. I was on the 4th floor and was able to see all the boats and ships coming and going. The view of Dalt Vila from the balcony is beautiful. The location is easily walking distance to Dalt Vila and all around the city of Elviza. I'm American and was not used to the smell of septic in a clean bathroom. I looked to buy a can of Lysol or some antiseptic spray at a few local shops to no avail. It might not bother you, it was only noticeable to me, but my partner was nauseated. It's worth considering if you're sensitive to smell. You may wish to bring a travel size antiseptic spray. There are indeed biting bugs too. There are not many bugs on the island, especially in late October. They are imperceptible during the day. I got a bit every night though, even under the sheets. So, bring something for that too. The building itself is beautiful. It offers a creative use of space and there's plenty of art to look at. There is even a cute reading room and an open area to lounge. The bar/lounge is huge with projection TVs and board games. The unheated outdoor pools are 3 or 4 feet deep, which might be considered shallow. Although there was plenty of sun in late October, there were no guests using them.

高級リゾートIbizaの中でも１・２を争う高級ホテルだけあって非常に素敵なホテルでした。空港からもそう遠くなく（タクシー20ユーロ位）、部屋からは旧市街が一望できます。ホテル内にはギャラリーもあり、アート感ただよう素敵な空間になっています。一番チープなジュニアスイートでも45㎡位あるので、ゆったりできます。

とにかく新しくて清潔でスタイリッシュで大満足でした。クラブ「パチャ」や「エルディヴィーノ」は徒歩圏、ダルト・ヴィラまでも歩いていけました。部屋の中（バスルームではなくベッドの脇）にジャグジー付きのバスタブがあったのも嬉しいサプライズでした。朝食ブッフェも美味しくて食べ過ぎてしまいました！
