Melia Granada Hotel is located in the very heart of the world famous city of Granada, near the Cathedral and the Royal Chapel housing the remains of the Catholic Kings and next to commercial area. It's ideal for both business and leisure travelers and provides excellent meeting facilities together with a great choice of the finest dishes of traditional Andalusian cuisine.

A very convenient centrally located hotel that more than lived up to our expectations. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel was 15 minutes max from all city centre attractions, retsuarants etc and within easy walking distance of buses to the
Alhambra and Albaicin district. Bedroom was of a good size - bathroom perhaps rather bijou! Excellent breakfast with good choice of hot and cold food and large bar area was a good meeting place for hotel guests and locals alike. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Granada and at the Melia. Would certainly return and recommend to others.
great hotel, perfect location within walking distance of the Alhambra, Cathedral and all shopping. Rooms are quiet and comfortable. Did not eat in the restaurant (18 euros for a breakfast buffet?) and there wasn't a pool, but we greatly enjoyed
This hotel is staffed almost exclusively by men, it seems like, who are exasperated by tourists who don't speak fluent Spanish. Which is a bit odd, considering that they are in the tourist district, and that tourists make up a large part of their
demographic. Nothing about this hotel makes up for the poor service.
Hotel is full of Old World charm. Staff is very helpful. We wanted to rent a car on Friday to drive to Madrid. We asked the hotel to secure one for us, unfortunately no cars available. They sent us to a wonderful travel agent who encouraged
us to try the bus to Madrid. It was terrific!
The hotel personnel changed large bills for us with no problem.
A very nice and quite hotel in the center of Granada. The room was small, but nicely decorated. The only problem was the bathroom which was very small. Actully, the toilette and the bidet were so close to the wall that they were difficult to
use. The staff was very curtious and friendly. The best was the location; right in the centre of Granada. We could walk everyplace from there. It is also nice that the hotel had valet parking because been that it is located downtown, it is impossible to park. If it wasn't because the bathroom; I would have called this an excellent hotel. I would go there again, but I would ask for a room with a larger bathroom!

There is a cafe across the street, Cafe Castellana that serves the best jamon in town. You can also have there great tapas,
