Pleasantly Surprised

We reserved two rooms here during Holy Week, which turned out to be a nice surprise. The hotel location was excellent, and the room was clean and nicely maintained, although it is an older hotel. The breakfast buffet was excellent. They had a extensive selection of meats, fish, cheese, eggs, fruit, pastries, and other things as well. Tthe parking garage is beneath the hotel, and is very narrow. The hotel bellman was very gracious in guiding us down to our parking space, and he retrieved the car for us when we departed. Would definitely stay there again!

Shopping tip: Short walk from hotel

Directly across from the hotel is the department store, El Corte Ingles, which is like Macy's, but also has a very nice supermarket in the basement.

Absolutely loved this hotel -

Absolutely loved this hotel - gorgeous room with a balcony, really friendly staff, rooftop pool with a bar and restaurant there too - excellent location - right across the road for El Corte Ingles. The Granada tourist bus stops on the road the hotel is situated on. The buffet breakfast is great, great selection of food - I am already planning my next trip back! One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in

The pool and pool area were closed

The pool and pool area were closed for repairs while I stayed there, which was very disappointing. Otherwise a nice place for a good price.

Excellent location, easy to find

Excellent location, easy to find from the motorway. Underground parking was challenging (wouldn't recommend a large car). Food (on the basis of breakfasts and a lunch) was good. Bedroom had virtually no natural light, but that was no problem except that the lighting was subdued. The rooftop pool is small but the rooftop restaurant has wonderful views over the city and the Alhambra.

Nothing but THANKS!!

The good : - Room was excellent (Jacuzzi and huge compared to other hotels in Spain. Also the balcony was excellent!) - The view was amazing!! Alhambra fortifications from our window!! - Very clean hotel, Internet was decent - They made our stay a very pleasant one! The not so good: - If you are driving, parking will cost you about 20 euros a night and is not on site - Breakfast was OK for North American travellers. Compared to Spanish restaurants, it was not that great.

Sightseeing tip: Short walk from hotel

Must see Alhambra , start from the Nassirid Palace. If you really want to see everything, it'll take you 6 hours at least

The location was fairly central.

The location was fairly central. Breakfast was good and staff seemed friendly. The roof top pool was adequate and good for a bit of relaxtion after a day out.

Good location only 10 mins from

Good location only 10 mins from Cathedral and Albaycin areas, good breakfast. Room only had a dark lightwell rather than external-looking windows though, which didn't actually keep it that cool, although a/c worked well enough. Recommended at the price.

We stayed only one night and wanted

We stayed only one night and wanted a good location which the hotel really has. First impression of the service at the front desk was bad but after we got the room it was always really good and the staff was helpfully answering to our questions about how to get to places. Pool was nice for a refreshing moment before heading to the city. Bus stop for the airport bus is just 100 m from the hotel and buses to Alambhra and other places are also withing an easy walking distance. As the breakfast was included in the price we were suprised to find a really good buffet breakfast. I will definitely go to this hotel again when I visit Granada in the future.

Great Hotel let down by surly staff

It looked like our room, which was at the front of the hotel, had recently had a makeover, everything was clean and the amenities offered by the hotel were all what I'd consider in line with a four star rating. Location is great for shopping, less so for the tourist sites, which are on the other side of the town centre - perhaps a 10-15 minute walk away, but not so far that it was a problem for us. Only real let down were that the staff were rather perfunctory. still highly recommended overall.
