Neptuno Adult Only Hotel Gran Canaria

This hotel is the best hotel I've stayed in in Gran Canaria - we stayed half board and were amazed at the choice of food and the quality of food - staff very friendly and we have already booked to go back

We had a great time and the hotel was perfect for us....close to everything we wanted to be close to.

Nice hotel! Fantastic food! Good location for shop/party-lovers! Less good = noize! Bad isolation between rooms ans to many loud guests!

This was our second visit to the hotel, as a return visitor we were given a free bottle of wine, bathrobes, and slippers. The rooms are very clean, and have a good sized balcony, ours overlooked the pool and had a view of the sea (in the distance). The hotel has some spa facilities and an all inclusive option, we didn't use either of these but the offerings did look quite good, and the facilities to a very good standard. The pool and pool area is nice, there were plenty of spare sunbeds available. As you'd expect in an adult only hotel it was a good mix of young and old couples generally, and a very relaxed and quiet atmosphere. Noise levels overnight were minimal both in and outside the hotel. Despite the close proximity to the Yumbo Center, we were never woken up by any noise from there or from anyone walking back to their apartments. The food in the restaurant is a buffet service, and the type of meat/vegetarian option changed daily. I always found a good choice there when we used it - there was a choice of salads, desserts, fresh bread, pasta, etc. The only slight nags I have are the wifi is only good around the pool and if you're close to the access point (i.e. a room above reception/near that area). If you go on the balcony it works pretty well, but that's not always practical to do. Only other small concern was the lack of english TV channels. I know it's another country and you don't go on holiday to watch TV but it's nice to have one or two channels to watch when you are getting ready to go out/having a break from the sun. Overall, it's a nice place in a convenient location, about a 10 min walk from the beach. I would go again.

I have stayed at this hotel 6 times in the last 7 years and although primarily for the great location the hotel has always been excellent. However this year felt the standards have slipped a bit mainly in maintenance, housekeeping and staffing levels. Also for the time staying at the hotel was located in room without pool view. Unsure if this because I did not book through tour operator.

Our first stay at this hotel, and what a joy to find such a tranquil place to relax and enjoy the many comings and goings by the heated pool. It was a pleasure not to have loud, out of control, and ill mannered children running all over the place. An ideal place for the more mature and discerning gentleman.The rooms are an adequate size for a couple. The food was of good quality , plentiful and varied. From what we observed hygiene was excellent. The staff were friendly, welcoming and most helpful. The price of alcoholic drinks was reasonable for a four star hotel. One criticism; the Bar needed more staff on the floor at busy times and charges for the same drinks varied almost on a daily basis. Check your bar bill! We did not use the poolside bistro, but were told by friends that "it is expensive for what it is". At night, loud music can be heard coming from the many bars in the Jumbo Centre, up until 4am. Ear plugs are supplied in your room. Overall we gave it a score of 9 out of 10. We would stay here again. Highly recommended!

VISITING THE LOVELY PLAYA DEL INGES FOR THE LAST 7 YEARS HOLIDAYING 2 TIMES PER YEAR. WE HAD THE MISFORTUNE TO STAY HERE! THE ROOM WE WERE IN WAS FILTHY WITH TINY MITES CRAWLING OUT FROM EVERYWHERE INCLUDING THE KETTLE IN OUR ROOM. WE ASKED TO BE MOVED WHICH HAPPENED 7DAYS LATER. THE NEW ROOM WAS THE SAME ONLY EXTRA GUESTS COCKROACHES. THE DELPHI AT BREAKFAST CUPS CHIPPED ETC .NEVER AGAIN!!!

Der erste Eindruck war gut. Relativ schnell bemerkt man, dass es kein Familienhotel. Die Überzahl der männlichen Paare sowie der Extravaganten machte uns ordentlich zu schaffen. Wir planten einen wöchigen Urlaub mit unserer Tochter und wurden von der sehr speziellen Gesellschaft überrascht. Bei einem so speziellen Insider-Hotel erwarte ich, dass wenigstens darauf hingewiesen wird. Ich werde eine zukünftige Buchung unterlassen und diese Adresse auch nicht weiterempfehlen.

Wie es der Name beschreibt, ein Hotel für Erwachsene. Mit meiner Gemahlin haben wir eine sehr schöne Woche im Neptuno verbracht. Vor allem hervorzuheben ist das freundliche Personal und das sehr gute und reichhaltige Morgen-und Nachtessen. Ein schöner und gut gelegener Pool. Einzig die tägliche Reinigung der Zimmer ist verbesserungsfähig ist aber absolut OK. Wir können das Hotel sicher empfehlen.
