The Duran Hotel & Restaurant is located in the heart of Figueres. It is a family hotel with great tradition and reputation. The hotel presents a sharp contrast in its interior design. Its upper floors, superbly renovated, displaying a very high-end finishes higher than expected in his category. They are distributing the 65 rooms decorated with functional furniture design wooden heads inspired Dal elegant, warm tones on the walls and a nice lighting. The ground floor shows a more rustic, with the presence of the original corner stone of 1855, the Celler de Ca la Teta, and crowded restaurant, a landmark for those who want to learn the cuisine of the region. The Duran is a real hotel, true to its origins, great for a peaceful and unique escape. Dal used to go to sample dishes from its renowned restaurant. For this reason, the hotel exhibits many prints and drawings of the devoted artist, and part of a tour of the city that runs the most closely linked with the painter.

Very nice Hotel in the center city.

This is a wonderfull Hotel in the center of the city. Easy to reach. The garage is at the corner of the street, which is very convenient as well. Nice breakfast. This Hotel is to be recommended.

Very good location and the restaurant

Very good location and the restaurant is excellent. Only small gripe is that the car park is a long walk from the hotel but c'est la vie!

Hotel très agréable et très bien situé

Séjour agréable hotel très bon, personnel, service, emplacement parfait mais au restaurant rapport qualité prix un peu trop élevé.

Der Besuch des Teatre Museum Salvador

Der Besuch des Teatre Museum Salvador Dali in Figueres ist ein Muß für jeden, der sich für zeitgenössische Kunst interessiert. Dali war jedoch nicht nur Künstler sondern auch Genießer und Dauergast im Durán, einem weit über Figueres hinaus bekannten Feinschmecker-Restaurant. Während das zugehörige Hotel früher eher an die Zeiten von Don Quijote & Sancho Panza erinnerte, ist es vor einigen Jahren entsprechend den Bedürfnissen von modernen Geschäftsreisenden, Individual- und Gruppentouristen aufwendig renoviert worden. Alle Zimmer sind atmosphärisch sehr ansprechend und modern eingerichtet. Das Hotel verfügt über zwei (kostenpflichtige) Garagen.
