All-inclusive, modern hotel overlooking the spectacular Jandia Beach

The Barcelo Jandia Playa All Inclusive Resort is located in the south of the Fuerteventura Island and overlooking one of the best beaches in the Canary Islands, the 18-mile Jandia Beach. The hotel is modern and offers a wide range of leisure and sporting facilities. Ideal for families, it has a children's club and an animation program. Four restaurants and six bars offer traditional dishes and international cuisine with a wide variety of drinks. The hotel also offers a range of outdoor sports, excursions and guided tours.

A variety of rooms are available at Barcelo Jandia Playa.  The family rooms are spacious and decorated in cheerful colors. The rooms have a balcony or terrace, refrigerator, writing desk, armchairs and reading desk, as well as a fully-equipped bathroom. The suites have fantastic views of Jandia Beach, and the colonial style is both elegant and welcoming, with a bedroom and large living room. The bathrooms have both a separate shower cabin and a Jacuzzi. The superior suites are decorated in the same style, but have a private terrace or balcony. The superior sea view suites have large rooms and double beds, as well as terraces or balconies that look out onto Jandia Beach. As well as excellent facilities, the hotel staff is efficient and friendly, and the hotel even has a wedding license for those who want to tie the knot somewhere a little different. Highly recommended

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights in November. There's a good selection of pools with one heated pool near the hotel spa. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the beach. The hotel is set on a hillside so there's some up hill walking once you get into the hotel but there's an elevator up to the entrance. 90% of the people staying there were middle aged Germans, so the hotel was very civilised. The same can be said for the Jandia area in general. There was none of the rowdiness you'd associate with other Canary Island locations. The hotel food, which is a buffet, was generally good with a different selection for each meal every day. However it's easy to get bored with it after a few days. Be careful with any poultry you get though as at one meal I picked up a piece of turkey that had a small piece that was still pink and undercooked. This one was the one blot on an overall very enjoyable stay.

Un séjour idéal ! Grand hôtel

Un séjour idéal ! Grand hôtel bien organisé, idéalement situé, doté d'un personnel accueillant, efficace et compétent, aucune mauvaise surprise ! S'agissant d'une énorme machine (sans doute près de 1000 chambres !) on aurait pu craindre que l'effet de masse se traduise par des désagréments au niveau du client individuel. En fait, l'espace et gigantesque et, même au niveau des repas, cet effet de masse est traité par une plus grande variété et même des initiatives de cuisine recherchée qui suppriment tout effet de lassitude. Nous recommandons chaleureusement cet hôtel !
