Barcelo Jandia Mar All Inclusive Hotel

The weather was lovely and the hotel was luxurious. There was plenty to eat and drink and lots of choices. Travel is very easy whether you have your own car or use the buses. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. the staff spoke English, French and German as well as Spanish. It is in a good location, near to shops and the beach.

Jandia is a beautiful resort but the hotel was not as good as we expected. We booked a double room as it stated it was suitable for 3 people (2 adults and 1 child). It wasn't! 3 single beds in a row and unable to open one of wardrobe doors as 3rd bed had been squeezed in! We found out another couple with 2 children had a much bigger room and paid £500 less than we did as they booked a few months earlier. How can this fair practice! Reception staff were polite but need some charm lessons. Not a 4 star hotel - more like 3 star. We will go back to this resort but not this hotel.

The hotel is situated up a very steep hill (45 degree possibly) . Apart from its situation - which certainly keeps you fit - the hotel is excellent. The facilities, and room - superior sea view was exactly what we were looking for. cleaned daily and comfortable. Entertainment staff were brilliant -day and night. Our only complaint (minor) was the food. The quantity, quality and variety was excellent - there is no need for anyone to go hungry! Our problem was one of the party does not eat fish, and some evenings the meat supplied was goat, veal or rabbit as I put totally not to "our" taste, but no problems if you like these meats. Other choices were pastas, pizzas and vege options! The buffet did get a bit repetative after 12 days so we did eat out on one occasion. Be prepared though as prices have certainly gone up since our last visit about 4 years ago. (3 courses, with bottle wine and two drinks £75) - it makes all inc very reasonable!!!! We would certainly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is located about a 5 min walk from a great stretch of beach. My wife and I did not stay around the hotel at all because we were always going to different beaches on the island, but there are several great pools for children to enjoy. The staff was great, the buffet restaurant had lots of tasty choices, and the several bars were convenient. The only petty gripe I had was the hotel could have done a better job picking up litter around the hotel. Maybe somebody walking around and picking up after the wind blows the rubbish up, would have been effective. It did not distract from the overall great experience though. This place is worth your money if you plan on staying around the hotel and its immediate area, but if you want to travel around the island and spend time away from the hotel like my wife and I did, you should look into an non-inclusive hotel. Get out and enjoy all the wonderful beaches!!!

j'ai payé un supplément pour une suite, résultat très bruyant le soir et pas de chauffage.....

le matelas du lit est dur, l'eau des piscines est froide, pas de bain turk, vaisselle mal lavé imense colline a monter de la plage a l'hotel, cuisine pas assez varié. apart ca execelent hotel, belles piscines, beaux jardins, les gens sont aimables je recommande.

L'hotel est vraiment super, la nourriture et le buffet est très bien en général, paella, specialité de viande. Il y a un snack bar assez sympa l'après-midi, on peut manger des hamburgers, frites, saucisses et autres, utile pour une petite faime après une excursion. Les chambre spacieuse. Le seul hick la climatisation faisait du bruit et la mer un peu loin de l'hotel à pied. Je le recommande vivement.

hotel super , le personnel au petit soin , la restauration assez variées , les animations sympathiques en bref super séjour rien a dire

l'hôtel est très bien tenue aussi bien que l'intérieur ou extérieur .juste un petit inconvenient il est dommage que le personnel ne parle pas le français .pour la plage dommage qu'il y est la cote a monter au retour mais bon ce n'est pas une catastrophe
