Good bet for business, pleasure at this Costa del Sol luxury hotel
Located next to the gleaming beach, the Torrequebrada Hotel Benalmadena is an ideal property for both leisure and business travelers. With lush, tropical gardens, nightly entertainment, diverse dining choices, a spa and fitness center, fully equipped conference rooms, two full-sized pools and the largest casino in the Costa del Sol, the property has something for everyone. The hotel is located near Malaga Airport and a short stroll from the resort area of Torremolinos.

I visited this hotel in August last year and wouldn't return. We paid for half board, and ended up going to Tudor Rose restaurant up the road most days for meals. The food was not satisfying... meat wasn't good quality, cereal tasted stale, and a waiter was very rude to us when we attempted to bring in our own drinks as they charged for all drinks including water. He was quite aggressive in nature as he ordered me angrily to remove the drinks from our table. We were not impressed. A member of the reception staff was also rude to me when I asked him to repeat something when I didn't hear what he said, rolling his eyes right in front of me. The decor is very dated, our room's floor was not clean. The corridors were very loud, we could hear every footstep and when someone nearby was going into their room it sounded like they were coming into ours. The balcony door lock wasn't very efficient, it was a flimsy chain and the door didn't have a proper latch. On the plus side, the location was good, pool was very nice and clean, as was the poolside area. Room was quite spacious.
