TThe hotel in Nerja Spain, Hotel Balcon de Europa, has an enviable location, in the old quarter the Historic "Balcon de Europa", and the pedestrians centre of Nerja. Overlooking the "Caletilla" Beach, it has a beautiful maritime panoramic view, and it is close proximity to the charming streets of the old town, those of the commercial area, and all the attractions that this delightful town has to offer. Due to its location built into the rock face of the Balcon de Europa, the Hotel's main entrance is via the 6th floor, thus allowing direct access from the hotel bedrooms to the beach and the surrounding area. A peaceful and exclusive atmosphere pervades the property; the public areas are spacious and tastefully decorated. The staff and the owner of the property create a warm and friendly welcome. Enjoy your holidays in hotel in Nerja Spain. Hotel Balcon de Europa is the perfect place to spend your holidays! Library, Lobby, Reception and Table tennis are the additional amenities provided by the property.

My wife and I spent 10 days there

My wife and I spent 10 days there over a New Year. We know Nerja well and had used the hotel's bar facilities many times. The location is excellent (largely why we booked there) and the New Year all night meal very good. My parents-in-law enjoyed the restaurant - we did not. The hotel caters for Thompson's tours and the age profile of the guests was high (even to us in our mid-fifties). The restaurant was an expensive disappointment - we were rushed through mediocre international food and decided to eat in the local restaurants (excellent) instead. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the hotel no doubt caters well to its market. It was a good price for its location and service was friendly. If you do not like package tour type holidays stay elsewhere but use the hotel's cafe and bar during the day.
