- The Parador stands on the main square of Santillana del Mar, as do the most characteristic buildings of the town: Torre de Don Borja, Casa del Aguila y la Parra, Torre de Merino and the Town Hall. Access is via the Travesia Santander-Comillas, along a cobbled street for 100 metres, then turning first right then left, the square will be seen to the right. Santillana is 24 km. from Santander.

Enjoy too the grilled beef steak with Tresviso sauce, the hake in Cantabrian sauce, clams from Pedrena, the anchovy salad, the Cantabrian ventrisca (tuna) and quesada pasiega (cheesecake).
