WIFI FREE & HYDRO SHOWERS IN ALL THE ROOMS. A charming Hotel of XIXth century, totally refurnished 2002 and placed in the entrance of the old historic Town declared Artistic site in 1.972. Facing the Arriaga Theater and next to the Guggenheim Museum in a 15 minutes walk along the river. Subway, Tram, train and bus stop at few meters of the Hotel.

Good location
The hotel's location is perfect to visit the lovely city of Bilbao. It is close to the old centre, and is a short walk to the Guggenheim museum. The train station is close and the city's excellent public transportation system makes it easy reaching the airport. The rooms are clean and well sound-proofed. One can get a good rest. The staff is kind and helpful.

For quick and good value coffee and tapas close to the hotel try the Lapiko cafe. Avoid cafe Berton, all guides recommend it, but it's expensive and uninteresting.

Good location which is walking distance (within 10-30 minutes mins depending on where you go) to major attractions including the Guggenheim. The metro station which will take you everywhere is also about 5-7 minutes away by walkig from the hotel. A lot of places to eat, drink and shop are near the hotel as well.

Nicely located
Well located at Arenal Bridge between old and new Bilbao. The hotel itself is average and a bit threadbare. Very good access to all parts of the city, close to Guggenheim Museum.

The hotel was typical of a 3*
The hotel was typical of a 3* city centre hotel. The reception staff were very helpful and spoke english as well as spanish. It is situated about 20 minutes pleasant,level walk from the Guggenheim.

Validissimo hotel. Vorremo tornarci. Il personale molto cortese e disponibile. La colazione ci sembrava costosa per essere a bilbao invece è proporzionata all'offerta e all'ottima qualità dei cibi. Unica pecca gli spazi nel bagno, il numero di asciugamani è scarso, per utilizzare il bidet (che non è in tutte le camere) bisognava fare un po' di contorsioni. Molto caratteristico con i mattoni a vista. La nostra camera aveva un ottimo panorama sulla piazza, peccato che la mattina presto ci fosse già rumore (con le finestre aperte). Mezzi di trasporto a pochi metri. Caratteristici ristoranti a pochi metri. Perfetto!

Accueil excellent, chambre et services trs bons. Le seul petit problme est l'inesxistance du parking et l'emplacement un peu loign du parc de stationnement public. Mais en mme temps il est difficile d'tre en plein coeur du Casco Viejo tout en tant accessible en voirure!
