Good location. Small, hot room.
For the price paid, we definately think the hotel was worth it although it does not have four star quality, as advertised. The room was a little bit small and hot. The bed was way too small for a couple. The location, however, is fantastic, just a quick walk away from great restaurants and 2 mins from subway.

Very good value!!
Zenit is well located and is just a few minutes walk from the Hospital Clinic Metro Station (3 stops to La Rambla). It is also very easy to get to from the airport; just get the train to Sants railway station (about 20 minutes). It is not in the town centre but is quiet as a result. The standard of the decor and furnishing of the room is not really four stars in my view. The room was also on the small side (I had nicer rooms in four stars hotels in both Seville and Madrid). The bed was however comfortable and I slept very well. It was very good value for the price paid and so I am happy! The hotel has a restaurant which is open Monday to Friday. The fixed price three course menu is pretty good (price + quality). A very good hotel choice overall.

Buy a T10 Ticket (about 10 euros) from the train station at the airport. It allows 10 journeys on metro and it is also valid from airport to Sants station.

Summer in Barcelona
Hotel was very modern and nice. Very clean. Free wi-fi. Staff was not very friendly or helpful but I found that was pretty typical of the people in Barcelona. Location of hotel was pretty far from all attractions. Convenient to grocery store and little cafe for breakfast. Loved the balcony overlooking the street. Residential neighborhood.

Nice clean and quiet hotel, situated
Nice clean and quiet hotel, situated around 5 minutes walk from Hospital Clinic metro stop. It's then around 10 mins to the centre with one change at diagonal. There is also a bus stop around the corner from the hotel that also takes you to the centre which is a far nicer way to travel. (ask reception for loaction and bus no) You can get Breakfast from the bakerys and cafes dotted around, we found one in carrer de provenca on the way to the metro. Taxi is aorind 8-10 euro to/from the centre. Overall a value for money hotel if you don't mind being a little away from all the action.

Great service in the heart of Barcelona
We have been on a sight-seeing stay in Barcelona, both for the first time in this city. I have found Zenit Borrell as a great choice. It is only few blocks away from the airport bus stop. You can easily walk to many attractions from this hotel, including famous Gaudi's masyterpieces - Casa Battlo and Casa Mila. However, there is a metro stop just two blocks away from hotel, so that one could enjoy a wide-spread Barcelona metro system. The neighborhood is Eixample (Ensanche), which could be considered a centre of the city. The hotel is quite close to the main Barcelona station - Sants. The service was great, including cleaning the room, reception services, etc. There was a wi-fi there, as well as a free access Internet site in the lobby. They do help you with the tours if needed. The room was spacious enough with up-scale bathroom, new furniture, very nice, indeed.

Long walk from hotel
All major Barcelona attractions are within walking distance, though distance will vary. For instance, Passeig de Gracia with many major monuments is close, while reaching Gothic city and Barceloneta, harbour area would require loger walk, but one could always use a metro, which is 3-4 minutes walk from hotel.

It is a very good choice to stay
It is a very good choice to stay in this hotel. I strongly recommend. Although it is not located in the hart of Barcelona, the metro station is near the hotel and still convenience to visit most of the scenes.
