BANG - doors banging at all hours of the day and night!!!! I think it was the wardrobe doors and the cupboard doors. It completely disturbed my sleep every night throughout the entire night. Need to fit some stoppers. The hotel staff were very friendly and very helpful. Location was a little undesirable. Its a shame as the hotel itself was very nice.

hotel fully booked upgraded to a suite at no extra fantastic. metro 2mins away make sure you get best ticket for your stay t10 looks best value wish i had known before i got ours.

Stayed 7 -11 April 2013. Average hotel not 4 star. Location in isolated area of Barcelona. Staff not very helpful at all. Room clean also not upto standard expected. Half an hour wait at checkout. Flight was late so left luggage in hotel. When we went to collect, two check- in guests were waiting, only one staff on counter dealing with check in/out and telephone, while other staff moving around. Waited for 25 min. before I could collect my luggage while my taxi meter was running. If going as tourist, suggest find hotel in the city, worth the extra cost. Room Tip: No choice was given to us.

After a weary night from the flight from NY thru Istanbul to Barcelona, the taxi took us to a very welcoming hotel close to the seashore. The very professional hotel attendant found my name easily in the computer system and told me exactly what I already knew and expected. The hotel room is clean and very conducive to rest and sleep. Both of us with my wife are so impressed with the services given like patient instructions on how to navigate the tourist areas with ease and comfort. We will be eternally grateful for their collective efforts to make our stay memorable and worthy to relate to others.

We wanted to stay in a comfortable hotel that wasn't too close to any touristy areas. It's out of the way in El Forum but it's quiet and 5 minute walk to the metro and 10 minute walk to the beach. The staff was great...they even called a doctor for me when my husband was really sick for a couple days. The doctor spoke english and they were very quick at getting him to the hotel.

Pros: fairly short walk to metro stations and beach; modern, clean room; good price Cons: questionable neighborhood, staff not strong in English, restaurants open at odd times Overall pretty good experience.

It seemed a little "strick". There was not only FREE WIRELESS but there was NO WIRELESS unless you were all the way down stairs in the lobby. There was a Cable that you could plug in your PC or you could use the net on the teeny weeny tv in the room for 9 Euro. Also the breakfast was not complementary, it cost a little over 10 Euro per person a morning and it was not as appealing as I would have liked. I barely ate anything. There were only two main courses, scrambled eggs and bacon, neither cooked to my liking. Room service was not that expensive to me which I order everyday i was there sometimes twice. It is also not in a cute part of town. But it is not too far from civilization lol. We didn't ride the train since there were so many people complaining about pick pockets. We walked pretty much everywhere and rented some electric scooters one day. It was about a 10 minute walk to the beach but the first beach water was really crowded and dirty. But anyway, the pool on the roof was TINY!!! and it closed at 8PM! It isn't even dark at 8. That was annoying. So it was really nice but a little old fashion i guess would be better choice of words. ALSO the cleaning ladies... these ladies will knock as they are putting the key in your door to open it. NOT COOL when this is a ROMANTIC trip with you and you husband. Front desk was very kind and very helpful and spoke great english but not the house keepers. For me with a hotel Wireless is a must even if it is not free, I traveled with an iPad. Complimentary breakfast and dinner, we spent a lot on room service. 24 hour room service, theirs had hours. And a pool that closes at a grown up time, 8pm is not even my 4 year olds bed time.

Internet at a charge in the room. Overpriced. There is a comb, a tooth brush and a razor but no body lotion (cream) or hair conditioner in the amenities. No coffee machine in the room. Water at a charge as well. No room service before noon. Cannot order a coffee even. A chocolate bar misteriously disappeared from our mini-bar. Nice design but doesn't ensure much privacy as it's mostly an open concept where the sink is in the entrance of the room and the bathroom is separated by a glass door only. No sink in the bathroom. There is a bidet though but you have to go out to brush your teeth in the corridor. A bit surprising for a 4-star hotel Clean, quiet hotel. Looks out of place in this neighbourhood, which is ugly and dirty. The hotel is surrounded by houses where people hang their clothes to dry outside. If you don't mind these inconveniences, it is a clean modern place with a subway station or a tram station nearby. In 20 min. you could be Downtown. The price was very reasonable. Good design!
