has good and bad qualities!
the hotel was good in cleanliness, but the restaurant staff for dinner were very slow (breakfast staff was fine), the reception people seemed reluctant to help the clients, and the location of the hotel is not so good, it is very noisy at nights, and not so close to the main attractions (plus if you come to hotel after 11, you should be very careful about safety).

Tryp Barcelona Condal Mar
Very modern and clean. Lovely room and big bathroom. Didn't have any meals at hotel plenty of cafe's and resturants available. Glad I took a travel kettle for room. Glad we had a travel book to advice us and that had a decent map with metro map. Really liked the hotel but would stay closer to the centre or nearer to a Metro site next time we visit Barcelona.

Buy a T10 metro ticket for 10 Euros you get 10 trips but we got 12 out of ours enough for our 4 day trip.

Kind of ok hotel, if you did not have expectation. When we checked in the receptionist told us that the swimming pool can be used from 10 to 10, but we went to the swimming pool twice during our stay and not even the door was open. There was paper that said that it`s under renovation or something.

Vähän kaupungin laidalla
Vaikka hotelli ei ollutkaan kaukana kaupungista ja sinne pääsi metrolla helposti oli kortteli hotellin ympärillä hylätyn oloinen. Ränsistyneet rakennukset eivät kyllä olleet edukseen. Turistikauden ulkopuolella, maaliskuussa, hotelli oli aika autio, tyhjine uima-alaineen ja suljettuine ravintoloineen.

Henkilökunnasta heijastui yhden pomon auktoriteetti. Hotellivirkailija ei uskaltanut antaa yhtä laastaria ilman pomon lupaa. Kovalla kerjäämisellä saatiin lainaksi sakset, vähän sideharsoa ja laastarirullaa. Internet-maksuasiaa ei selitetty meille. Kohtuuton hinta 9€ kerta netissä ja TV:n katselu oli maksullista. Hotellin mainoksessa kuitenkin oli lause: Ilmainen nettiyhteys. Mutta siihen olisikin tarvittu oma läppäri, mitä meilläkään ei tietenkään ollut mukana. Henkilökunta oli hyvin kireää, muuten hotelli oli ihan hyvä.

Langt fra byen
Der er ikke meget liv i nærheden af hotellet, så der er fred og ro. Men det er i taxa-afstand fra ramblaen, men okay tæt på stranden. Lej deres el-cykler - det er ret sjovt. Men de har kun 4 så være tidligt ude. 13 € for 2 timer eller 25€ for en dag. Det er en fed måde at komme rundt på. Der var super koldt og blæsende og regn da vi var der i maj 2013, så poolen var ikke så rar, men det så fint ud. Lidt larm fra smækkende døre...

Hyvä sijainti
Sijainniltaan hotelli oli rauhallisella paikalla, lähellä metroasemaa. Hotellin aulassa olevaa ravintolahenkilökuntaa sai odotella joka kerta, ilmeisesti yksi henkilö oli sekä baarin tiskillä että keittiössä ( ? ), samoin huoneessa oleva minibaari oli lämmin eikä muutosta tullut vaikka siitä kävimme huomauttamassa. Muuten ihan siisti ja viihtyisä hotelli.
