Senator Barcelona Spa Hotel

I stayed for a night on my own. The room was small but clean. There were no English channels on the TV. The Spa was open and was really great to relax in but book early to avoid disappointment when you want to get treatments. Close the the football ground and the hop on and off city tour stop. Not much to do in the evenings here.

Very safe and residential neighborhood, close to subway.

I was in Barcelona visiting the city. This hotel is in a very good and safe residential neighborhood. Not especially centrally located but it's a 5 min walk to the subway which can take you anywhere. The hotel is big, the rooms are spacious and clean, complimentary minibar. I enjoyed my stay and would return there.

The hotel is in a nice area close to the metro and football ground (Nou Camp). I was however let down by the closure of the spa and gym during my stay and was not informed about this. The staff are not really friendly and the hotel looks average with average rooms. The rooms are however very clean. Overall a 3/5 experience.

Have been staying at Senator for over 5 years now and have noticed a deterioration in standards, especially this last trip. Fridge/bar in room had usual items missing. Bathroom devoid of the usual toothbrush, toothpaste, razor and shaving cream etc, only comb, shower cap and nailfile? No Pay for view tv available despite being advertised. The tv was set to Spanish language only and it required 3 requests from reception to have this rectified. Desk in room had writing paper but now no pen. Main restaurant closed in evenings, with limited menu available only in the bar. There has been an obvious reduction in staff over the past 5 years and this is reflected in the overall dropping in quality service.The reason I choose to use the Spa Senator is because if it's convenience to Nuo Camp.

Ihan OK, vähän kaukana vanhasta kaupungista, mutta tulihan nähtyä muutakin!

het is een super goed hotel,ik zou het aan iedereen aanraden,ligging is op loop afstand van het stadion,en de metro,personeel zeer vriendelijk kamers zijn netjes echt een top hotel. de volgende keer gaat mijn boeking weer uit naar dit hotel

Ihan tommonen käypänen hotla tuo oli. Oon käyny monesti täällä ja ihan passelihan tuo on. Välillä on jotain pientä puutetta tai korjattavaa mutta ainahan on jotain saatu järjestymään. Huoneiden varustelu on ok, ei valittamista. Aamupala (12€) on aikas passeli, saat pyytää kokilta millaisen munakkaan haluat, jos osaat espanjaa tai katalaania. Omelette, por favor on toiminu aina. Leivän paakhdin tosin on jostain museosta hommattu mutta toimii :) Kylpylä on puolestaan ihan nussakka. 7 allasta muistaakseni mutta pore-alla on aika laimee. Kylmä altaita on kaksi ja yksi allas on "maustettu" appelsiineilla joilla voi heitellä toisiaan siinä kylpiessä. Kolme saunaa on ja yksi niistä on Turkkilainen höyrysauna mutta laiema kans. Normi saunoja on kaksi ja toinen on tarkoitettu käytettäväksi ilman uikkareita. Yksi luolamainen huone jossa on jääkone, joka suoltaa lumijäätä jota voi sivellä ihollensa tai tehdä lumipalloja niistä ja viedä ne mukanaan altaaseen tai saunaan. Sijainti on aika kaukainen keskustasta (n. 5km) ja jonkun kilsan päässä on lähin metroasema. Euroopan suurin jalkapallostadioni Camp Nou on melkein naapurissa.

Sono stato lì per una partita del Barça, la posizione dell'hotel è veramente ottimale per raggiungere lo stadio senza problemi! Stanza pulita, parcheggio compreso e termario molto bello ma costa 15 euro. Ho avuto solo qualche difficoltà di comunicazione col personale visto che non conosco lo spagnolo.
