Fantastic getaway
Hotel Royal Las Ramblas is in a perfect location. We used the tourist bus to get around which enabled us to visit many places. Would definitely use this hotel again. Our trip to Barcelona was fantastic

Great Trip!
The hotel was excellent in every respect. The location could not be better...overlooking Las Ramblas and near Placa Catalunya and near metro/bus lines. The room was modern and comfortable. The staff was very accommodating. Food in adjacent restaurant (part of hotel) was very good and reasonable. My wife and I could not have asked for better.

Eat away from the center of Las Ramblas. There are many restaurants with excellent food and more reasonably priced on the side streets leading to Las Ramblas.

Loves to Cruise
Great location and good value
This was a nice & clean hotel. The rooms are small but that is just the way it is in Spain. The staff were very helpful - top notch service! I would (and did) reccomend this hotel.

Short walk from hotel
Take the 'hop on, hop off" bus. Buy the 2day pass. It is the best money we spent. It begins and ends in the plaza right near the hotel. The front desk will actually sell you tickets at the same price the bus does.

Perfect location
This was the perfect location to explore Barcelona. Restaurants, shopping, garden market, taxi or subway are all right outside your door. We were able to walk to great restaurants in several squares and saw an unforgettable flamenco show right down the street from the hotel.

On The Ramblas
My wife and I stayed here for two nights before a cruise in May. Clean, quiet (in the back rooms) and contemporary decor. Located right on Las Ramblas, great for exploring the area. Only negative was that there was no response from the front desk when I complained about cigarette smoke coming through the ventilation system. Otherwise a safe bet for a couple of nights.

Fabulous location...
This hotel is in a fabulous location, right on La Rambla just off Placa Catalunya. But our room overlooking La Rambla was quiet! We could open our window to enjoy the sounds but could also enjoy watching the action in silence. Everything worked and was clean. The breakfast, included in our package, was incredible. The staff was friendly but not engaging. They answered questions but didn't seem terribly interested in getting acquainted. But, all in all, a great hotel experience.

Short drive from hotel
The light and music show at the Fontana di Magica at Placa Espana was delightful even in the rain! It's only presented on certain nights; don't miss it. And all the Gaudi buildings are amazing. Many can be viewed from the outside from the tourist on-off buses and then you can return to spend more time at those of your choosing.

Bon emplacement
Adresse très centrale, chambres bien isolées. La chambre économique lit double est confortable mais très petite pour un 4* Le petit déjeuner buffet est hors de prix à 15 euros alors que le café croissant est à moins de 2 Euros sur la Rambla ! Le restaurant attenant et faisant partie de l'hôtel à un service exécrable à l'étage.

Kaksi kaupunkimatkaajaa
Rauhallinen hotelli vilkkaassa keskustassa.
Neljännessä kerroksessa Ramblasin puoleisessa huoneessa pystyi nauttimaan omasta rauhasta mihin vuorokauden aikaan tahansa, mikäli piti ikkunat suljettuna. Hotellin palvelut erinomaiset, monipuolinen ja runsas aamiainen, siistit ilmastoidut huoneet, persoonalliset ja viihtyisät oleskelutilat jne. Metroasema aivan vieressä, lentokenttäbussille 3 min. kävely, taksitolppa vastapäätä, useat kohteet lähellä. Hotelli ylitti kaikin puolin odotukset 8 päivän visiitillämme toukokuussa 2013. Valitsemme tämän mieluusti majapaikaksi seuraavillakin kerroilla.

Geniale Ausgangslage und tolles Hotel
Das Hotel liegt gleich beim Placa Catalunya. Optimale Ausgangslage für Spaziergänge oder wenn man mit den ÖV unterwegs ist. Das Royal Rambla ist sehr hübsch eingerichtet: sehr modern mit weissen Lacktischen und dunkelbraunem Holz. Das Frühstück geniesst man im ersten Stockwerk und kann dem bunten Treiben auf der Rambla zusehen. Die ganze Fensterfront reicht hier bis zum Boden....einfach toll!
