Residence MelonDistrict Marina

We spent six days in Melon Disctict Marina in Barcelona. The staff couldn't have been better, friendly, helpfull and informative. The room small but perfect for our visit, we were mostly out and about, had air con and very clean. The roof swimming pool perfect for relax and has city view, but if you want to go to the beach it takes about 15 minutes. You can leave you laggage with reception, use computer station for free internet. Good place to stay!!!

This hotel is surrounded by undertakers, so a light stroll in the neighborhood is less pleasant than it should be. It is also a bit far from the city centre so it is not convenient for a tourist. Due to its cheap price, this place is crammed with young backpackers. So you can expect to hear all kinds of noises --yelling, drunk talks, laughters, banging doors throughout the night. Worst of all, the hotel receptionists are the most lazy and arrogant that I have seen. I arrived at midnight due to a delayed flight, and I was kept waiting in queue for 30 mins when the receptionist (a girl) was flirting with two male guests before me. Then when it was my turn, she simply asked me to go to another receptionist and to start queuing again! When I asked her why, she yelled to me:"can't you see I am busy?" (Obviously she was busy, though not necessarily with work.) Then when I said thank you, she glared at me and said in a most sardonic tone:"oh, you are welcome." This is the worst experience one could get after a long long flight and when one just arrives at a strange place at midnight. It will spoil your fun as a tourist, seriously. I surely did not feel welcomed and will certainly advise my friends never to try this hotel if they are going to Barcelona.

This Hotel is excellent. The rooms are clean and have air conditioners and towels. There is a lounge/kitchen on each floor where you can cook and relax with your friends. Each room has its own compartment in the fridge. You can leave your luggage at the reception if you arrive at the hotel before check-in time. There is a little swimming pool on the roof of each building. The view is excellent, you can see la Sagrada Familia and Torre Agbar.

The Hostel is amazing. The Rooms are with new furniture and very clean. The location is very good, 2 minutes walk from the metro station. It is very quite, you can`t hear the people from the next room. If I go back to Barcelona I would definitely stay there again!

Dieses Hostel ist für alle, die es seht einfach und praktisch mögen. Die Zimmer sind sehr klein, aber funktionell und freundlich eingerichtet. Es ist vor allem auf junge Leute ausgerichtet. Das hört man schon an der zeitgenössischen Musik, die sich im Eingangsbereich über die Lautsprecher verbreitet. Die Dachterrasse mit dem Pool und dem Blick über Barcelona ist beeindruckend!

waren eigentlich sehr zufrieden, Zimmer sind sehr klein aber wir waren eh immer unterwegs. Aufenthaltsraum mit Küche ist auch super. Metro gleich in der Nähe. Würde dieses Hotel wieder buchen

Dommage qu'il n'y est pas de parking privé, cela éviterai d'avoir des surprises, comme par exemple la voiture qui part à la fourrière parce que les places bleue devant l'hotel c'est "payant" et aucune indication est notée pour les étrangers...bref la dessus. Pour ce qui est du personnel, rien à dire, très gentil et à l'écoute du client. La cuisine que l'on partage avec les résidents de l'étage est très moyens au niveau de l'hygiène!!!! Les chambres sont petites mais agréables. hotel correct malgrés tout.

Das Hotel liegt etwas weg von der Rambla, dem Hauptgeschehen.Vorteil: in dem Viertel ist alles sehr billig (Essen und Trinken) und auch Ruhe in der Nacht. Des Weiteren hat man nicht weit bis zum Sandstrand. Ein optimales Hotel. Minimalistisch eingerichtet, aber total ausreichend, saubere Zimmer, Klimaanlage und Pool am Dach, der nicht riesig ist, aber zum Abkühlen definitiv ausreicht. Im Hotel unten befindet sich ein günstiges Restaurant. Das Hotel erinnert an ein Studentenheim mit Gemeinschaftsküchen und Kühlschrank auf jedem Gang. Das Hotel ist sehr empfehlenswert!

Résidence bien située entre une station de métro qui va aux 2 principales places de Barcelone (la Plaça Catalunya et la Plaça d'Espanya) et un arrêt tramway. On a accès à tout Barcelone en peu de temps. Notre chambre était propre, le ménage fait 1 fois dans le séjour car nous y sommes restées 6 jours (pas un hôtel mais une résidence ce qui explique que le ménage n'est pas fait tous les jours). Le personnel est accueillant; certains parlent français, d'autres l'anglais. Ce qui est bien quand comme nous on ne parle pas un mot d'espagnol exceptés ceux de base. Petit bémol pour la salle de bain de 1m² qui est un peu petite mais bon vu qu'on y passe pas beaucoup de temps, l'hôtel mérite une bonne note.
