Did lots of walking. This hotel is in a great area that can take you to a central location of great shopping and great architecture.

excellent helpful staff. full breakfast with large choice selection. located near metro. located and near all shopping and tourist attractions. highly recomeneded.

This hotel was not a disappointment but was neither heaven. I visited the hotel during the winter in feb 2010. It was JUST it looked in the pictures. The hotel has a really nice reception and the rooms are well clean with excellent bathrooms and toilets. The location is good because there is a shopping mall nearby AND is little far from the centre which can be done by travelling. Considering the value for money i think i would give this hotel 8/10 rating. I would also suggest that this is not a perfect 5 star hotel as it lacks some thing. It can be 4.5 star Things i liked: 1) free internet facility (wi-fi) 2) Very quite 3) clean 4) great bed and bathroom 5) good entrance 6) great location things i did not like 1) Toiletries and other stuff being a 5 star hotel are not provided unless requested 2)Staff not very good at english and not very friendly 3)Hotel is not the best looking from outside 4) very expensive breakfast, gym facilities, pool, massage etc. (rip off) I would suggest that if you do not consider the value of money than the the HILTON hotel which is near this hotel would be the best in all terms. Else it is not a disappointment.

Clean, modern, comfortable about half an hour from Nou Camp; Taxi ride to most places of interest. Did not seem to nearby Metro

Room was clean although very dark. Hardly anywhere to store your clothes and suitcases. Front desk personnel were very helpful.

Just returned from Barcelona - very interesting city and lots to see and explore although expensive. Hotel was very good and included breakfast at a good rate. However, very disappointed that there was a separate charge for the Spa and gym - no reference was made to this on the hotel website!

Okay hotel for the price. Breakfast is not as good as some of the reviews posted and not worth $20 per day per person that we paid. No where to get breakfast in area of hotel so opt for the hotel breakfast or be prepared to travel out of neighborhood for morning meal. Far away from sights and activities but only about 7-10 minute walk to Hospital Clinic metro station and then a sho very short ride to La Rambla and marina area. We walked from hotel to La Rambla one morning. Took about 30 minutes to get there and is worth the stroll to admire the neighborhoods and architecture. Nice staff. Room was small but comfortable. Safe area! Hotel is not child friendly. Guests tended to be older couples. Hotel had nice lounge with and free wifi throughout hotel was great.

Great breakfast, but room is very old. In the room when we arrived, there were no cosmetics, sleepers, and there was only one bathrobe. Also safe was broken and the broken mirror in the bathroom.

Angenehme Klimaanlage, gute W-Lan Verbindung, sehr gutes Frühstück.

Voici un hôtel où le personnel se dépasse pour vous faire sentir que vous êtes leur "client-roi". Passé deux jours, ils vous connaissent et vous saluent par votre nom et non par le numéro de chambre. Barcelone, ville de design ... le Mélia aussi ... et un petit déjeuner qui dépasse l'entendement ... les autres clients-roi se régalent. Parking sous l'hôtel très commode (tarif réduit). Vaut sans doute le détour à tout moment, mais y faire une escapade pour le Nouvel Anest un plaisir qui appellera peut-être un retour al ano proximo.
