Location was within an very easy walk from Metro, about 2 minutes. Staff were friendly and helpful. Gym and sauna were well maintained. Access to Wi Fi internet was included in price.

Do not be put off by the unusual
Do not be put off by the unusual location of this hotel. It is really easily accessible from the airport - either take bus 46 or the train and change at Bellvitge to the FGC line to Europa Fira - take the Gran Via exit and you will see the hotel straight ahead. There is a regular and quick service to the centre of Barcelona on the same train line which takes about 5 minutes. The hotel is quiet and has all the facilities you would expect. The rooms are modern and spacious. The only thing that was slightly weird was that the bathrooms are separated from the sleeping areas of the rooms only by thick heavily frosted glass and this gives a feeling of lack of privacy - ok if you are sharing with family though

Considering the price an excellent
Considering the price an excellent choice. A new, architecturally beautiful and modern hotel. Rooms are beautiful, spacious and above all spotlessly clean. Breakfast is overpriced but at least good quality. If you don't mind having to get a Metro for 4 stops until you reach the town(*) then book this hotel. I know i will next time I visit Barcelona. (*)Or a 25 minute ride with night bus N17 after midnight.

One word "A.M.A.Z.I.N.G"
Cannot fault the hotel, it is exactly how it is in the pictures. Staff are very helpful and the bar prices are reasonable too. One thing if I had change anything would be that it would be the icing on the cake if they had a swimming pool on the first floor terrace. There is a lot of space up there not being used and would be heaven. A definate must stay if you really do enjoy luxury!!

Nice location, just outside main area of Barcelona, only 15mins from centre. Room was fantastic, stay on 17th floor so view was Devine. Staff were very helpful, gave us a plug converter when we realised we 4got ours. Would def stay there again, shopping mall down d road, so very handy

Hotel Porta Fira
This hotel was great. The bed was extremely comfortable. The location isnt great since its technically not in Barcelona, its on the outskirts in the convention center part of town. Its closer to the airport than most hotels but definitely a good 10-15 minutes away from the city. Its a beautifully designed hotel on the exterior and interior, and it was the first hotel I had stayed at in Barcelona that had exceptional and really well thought out interior design. The color palette of the room was a little cold, but the fact that the shower was roomy and the bed was comfy made up for it.
