Hotel Gran Ronda

The hard bed was great for us, because that's what we're used to but wouldn't be for everyone. It was like trying to sleep in a drum when the person next door was stomping round at 3am with heels on, because of the wooden floors. Other than that, the breakfast was good & it's great central location was excellent.

It's close to La Rambla, just about five minutes by walking. Room was quite good for a 3 star hotel and it was nice to have breakfast included.

hotel perfectly cited and whithin walking distance of the main tourist area of city, it is also near the pickup point for city bus tour, we thought was one of the best for price and area covered.Would do it again

close to everything...train station around the corner exellent cafe for breakfast also calling center to make calls overseas also nice resaturant around the corner awesome paella... service was nasty @hotel not very friendly at front desk

When we first checked into the hotel Gran Ronda, the receptionist was only lovely and very helpful. The room was super clean, spacious, the bed a little hard but it was fine. The room was cleaned at any time during the day, so if we slept in and left the sign on the door, the room was always cleaned by the time we got back. Very efficient. Only 1 negative remark, the floors are wooden so noise travels...so if you had noisey neighbours like we did, you would hear everything. Overall the location was fantastic, the aerobus was only 6euro from the airport and it dropped us 2 mins from the hotel. The room was clean and the AC was good. Only complaint was noise. Would stay here again for the price!!

The hotel is very close to a metro station so it is very convenient. The room is clean.

Great Location near everything the RAMBLAS walking distance also the EUROBUS 10 minutes to airport for less that 6euros Taxis to much$$$ service in Hotel was very CLEAN..except the bathroom sealing was paint peeling room 204 everyone at reception was friendly EXCEPT one GUY..that was not helpful & ALWAYS VERY SERIOUS LIKE HE DIDNT WANNA be there...He work at nights.We asked him on how to get to airport n he said only TAXI and later we found out that the taxi wanted 50euros and bus was on minutes away walking...for less that 6euros..good restaurant arounf the corner..asador de la galicia waiter LUIS awesome exellent PAELLAS n Sangria..also arount the corner calling center if u need to call home and the closed at 2am..we love the location train was few steps away..and was a simple room great hot water and a PERFECT PRICE..We will be back..Viva Barcelona had a great time dont forget to take Holy family tour gaudi PRICELESS!! .

Very clean, quiet, close to metro stations and city centre. Great base from which to explore, and easy to do so. Room was modern in a minimalist style, but comfortable and enjoyable. Compared well with hotel rooms in other cities.

very good location, friendly staff, but very small rooms, good if you arent spending too much time in your hotel. Very clean though.

I have stayed at the hotel twice now, and went back because of the nice people at the front desk and the nice, modern rooms. The location was perfect for taking short trips out in to the city and back to the hotel if neeeded.
