Great Mall located across the street from the hotel!! Good grocery stores so it was easy (and much cheaper) to purchase soft drinks, water, snacks, electronics, and various miscellaneous items needed!

Take the metro - drops you off anywhere in town for a mere 1.35 euros. Or go to one of the most nicest and uncrowded malls in Barcelona - right across the street, with great shopping!

Great Deal and Convenient Location

I went to Bqrcelonq for a convention. This hotel was actually a better value than the one's that were offered by the ... convention itself. The staff was first rate and helpful in finding restaurants and other places of interest. Though it is not in the City center, we had no problems getting there. I would stay here again without question.

we left the Melia Barcelona (supposed to be a5 star but definitely not) to come to the Hilton. The pool was great. They ... have a huge chess set there to play and plenty of lounge chairs. Beach is a walk though, over a highway, but provides for amazing views. ICE MACHINES on the floors!!! How lovely! The executive lounge was great and had a fabulous view. Other Hilton hotels leave Hilton Honors 'upgrade gifts' in the rooms but this place didnt have a gift or fresh flowers as they did in Paris or Rome.. still a wonderful experience and I would definitely come again! Its close to the convention center so not in the heart of the city, but has nice access to the metro. Great shopping and dining right next to the hotel. Taxi is about 25E everywhere...

"Very Relaxing Hideaway"
DrTim Jun 13, 2009
Used this hotel post-cruise. Pre-cruise hotel we stayed in the Gottic District of Barcelona (central location and hot-spot ... of the city). Post-cruise chose hotel with good ratings located next to beach. Wasn't dissappointed! If you want extreme nightlife stay in downtown. If you desire smaller crowds, beach access, mall-type shopping and dining, conveniences similar to "back home", very easy access to the metro system taking you anywhere in Barcelona you want to go then this hotel will be perfect!! We enjoyed both locations for different reasons!!

Off the beaten path but a gorgeous hotel
Happy Traveler Mar 3, 2009
Stayed here after spending the week in central Barcelona close to Las Ramblas. Wanted to stay my last couple of days away ... close to the sea. Although this hotel is not centrally located it is however easily accessible by metro and the hotel itself is extremely nice; and the staff most professional. Amenities were outstanding and you actually get American channels on TV (a plus after a week of just watching CNN!).
