Hesperia Del Port is the perfect place to stay if you want to be in the center of Barcelona. Within just a few minutes' walk from the bustling Las Ramblas and beautiful port area, this newly built hotel provides exceptional value and a high level of modern comfort. The hotel and its friendly staff offer guests a warm welcome that match the exceptional charm and character of Barcelona, with its numerous cultural, historical and business attractions. With no shortage of activities, the city is also world-famous for its shopping, art galleries and renowned Picasso museum. Public transportation is easy, with a metro stop just around the corner from the hotel, and you can easily take the funicular up to Montjuic for a visit of its Spanish Village and the Montjuic Castle, plus a great view of the city. The hotel provides a modern and relaxing atmosphere, with numerous room amenities to make your stay comfortable, a breakfast buffet, and free wireless Internet access in the lobby, lounge and all rooms.

Inexpensive Barcelona

Location was near port and Las Ramblas. Area was a bit seamy with peep shows and questionable characters walking the street, but no crime noted. TV remote did not work, no water prressure at shower head. Room very small but clean. Room on interior so was very quiet. Wake up call on time. discount offered on Hop ON Hop Off bus which had routes of about 4 hours Excellent value!

Entertainment tip: Short walk from hotel

All amenities of Las Ramblas a short walk. Historical section of city was a short walk and very enjoyable. Use the Hop On Hop Off as a great way to see this very large city.

Good location. Hotel ok

I don't plan to spend much time in the hotels I book.The location of this hotel is a couple of blocks from "Las Ramblas" and La Raval. It's a good idea to ask for an upper floor due to some minor street noise.
