I will not rent another room with Hesperia
The cleaning staff lost my Wall Street Journal. The cleaning staff entered my room despite having the "Do Not Disturb" sign hanging on the door. The distance of the hotel from the center of Barcelona is too far. Public transportation to travel to downtown Barcelona takes 45 - 60 minutes.

the worst hotel service i got in europe!!!
The reception speak bad english and because their mistakes during the three days trip, we have to pay a lot extra fee!!their reception man even hung up our phone!! i will never come back again!!

Great for the price, but far from the action.
Like others have said, you won't be very close to the center of the city, but the public transport system in Barcelona is really nice so you can be in the heart of the city within about 40 minutes. Other than that we really didn't have any problems. The room was very large, breakfast was adequate (nothing special really), and the staff seemed very helpful to the guests who were asking questions. The only negative thing I have to say about the staff is that the maid just would not leave us alone one morning. I think she knocked on or flat out opened our door 4 times one morning.

Great rooms but far from the center
High quality rooms, close to trap station but it takes 40 minutes to get to the center of Barcelona. Direct bus from the airport.

Great getaway for you and a partner
The hotel is situated just outside of the centre of barcelona which gives you a opportunity to use the public transport. The local people were very nice and the food from the local cafes and restaurants. There is a local supermarket around the corner, a cafe across the road and even a library about 5 mintues away next to the park. The room was absolutely MASSIVE!! It was so clean and tidy and regularly cleaned and taken care of. They have wi-fi that you can use and they have staff who can speak english and spanish so if you don't understand spanish there wont be a language barrier. I would recommend it to others, It was really lovely. If I ever go Barcelona again, I'd stay in the same hotel again.

Great place for the price
This hotel was the best part of our trip to Barcelona. It was very stylish and comfortable. Great staff. The only negative was it wasn't right in the city centre, but the tram and metro were very easy to use. Great place overall!

Extended
This is a very nice and hospitable facility. The rooms are great and the food is good especialy breakfast. If you have a big breakfast it helps for the long day. Theres a very good info cabinet with lots of pamphlets etc. The staff are very helpfull. The only complaint is the WiFi in rooms its not so strong but in the lobby area its fine. Ive extended my stay for at least another week. Its some distance from centre of city but that has its advantages. Nice and relaxing. Good value for sure. Its easy from the airport just get on the L77 bus from terminal 1 or 2 go to the end of the bus route and its 100 metres in front of you on the left at the top of the hill. Check it out.
