Great hotel located in the heart of Barri Gotic. Walkable to any outside amenities/transportation you may need. Large clean room with balcony. Nice private courtyard. Definitely would stay here again.

The location of the hotel cannot be beat. The staff is first rate. The room was decidely small.

Be and linens could be a bit more comfy, but the location made up for it. Liked the front desk staff...helpful and friendly. Room was pretty big for Europe, and the bathroom was big too with two sinks. Our room was on the too floor so it only had skylights. Was hot as a result so had to keep the AC on all day to cool it off. Wi-fi didn't work in our room - had to go into the hall to use it. Also charged 2 euro per day to use the safe which is pretty terrible. Never heard of such a thing. Safes should be free to use!!!

This was the perfect for a getaway in Barcelona. Having never been to the city, I was unsure of where to stay - boy, am I glad I chose this hotel! The reception staff, indeed, as everyone states, is quite welcoming, helpful and accommodating. The best thing about this hotel is the location and the convenience of being able to pop in throughout the day for a quick touring break. You can be in front of the cathedral in less than three minutes (by foot) and you're close to La Rambla (four minute walk) but far enough away from the noise. I was in Barcelona by myself and as a young female felt very safe and comfortable. I didn't have the breakfast at the hotel but went to one of the many bakeries each day. I loved Barcelona - the city has no negatives - and this hotel just heightened the whole experience. I was sad to leave but my feet couldn't take any more walking! The only negative is that I was placed in a room right by the elevator. I could hear it every time it was used. It didn't bother me because I sleep with earplugs but I imagine that it would be quite annoying for any one else.

The Good: Location, Location, Location. Clean. Staff nice but no helpful THE BAD: U might as well sleep with the door open. U can hear everything that is going outside the room. The same thing for the bathroom, dont bother closing the door, there is no privacy. Room size are about 2 feet bigger than the bed. THE WORSE: Their shower!!! It shoots freezing cold water, followed by boiling(it will burn u) hot water, followed by 15 sec or warm water. We had to take showers very careful. Feel for the cold freezing water and step out, the boiling water will follow. I complained at the front desk, they were nice but nothing they could do. I will never stay her again.

Stayed for 2 nights before a cruise -- Great location in Gothic Quarter, comfortable walking distance for wandering through lovely winding streets of entire Gothic quarter as well as walkable to Barceloneta; on side street with shops and patisserie; no noise in room with windows closed, ac worked great during hot late Sept, high ceilings, comfy bed, plenty of storage space, balcony overlooking street and towards church - excellent varied breakfast, elevator - front desk English speaking with excellent customer service - we were there during a big festival weekend so price was a bit high - but we would go back!

One of the best hotels we stayed at in Europe. Very clean. Very pretty. The staff was friendly. We had to pay for breakfast but it was really good with a lot of options. The location was great. Around the corner from Las Ramblas. Lots of places to shop and eat around the area. Clean bathrooms, nice view, and free WIFI!! :)

Wonderful week-long stay in Barcelona - chose this hotel for its in-the-middle-of-everything location and price- what a great value! Only issue - two single beds pushed together to make a "king" - sometimes the beds slid apart. Other than that, this was a very clean, well staffed, and overall great hotel. Would certainly return again.

The staff was knowledgeable, competent, helpful, and friendly. They allowed us to check in early and we had a beautiful room, with 2 little balconies. We could see Santa Maria del Pi from one of the balconies. The room was compact but well laid out. The bathroom was clean and nice with a deep tub. The breakfast was presented in a compact space but had everything we could possibly want. The WiFi worked great. The location is perfect close to everything.

This hotel was fantastic! We arrived early, way before regular check in and they were happy to get us into our room. We were greeted with a very friendly and accomodating staff along with a delightful glass of cava! We spoke little spanish and they were fluent in English and were able to help us with any questions. There was a bowl of fruit and mixed nuts greeting us everyday after a long day of sight seeing. The room was spacious and immaculately clean. There was a computer with internet access off the lobby which allowed us to contact our friends and family to let them know we were okay. The bathroom was very clean and cozy. The location of the hotel was PERFECT!!! We were a couple minutes walk from La Rambla, and situated on a delightful street with shops and pastry stores right next door. We never experienced any noise when trying to sleep despite how the town is always bustling. We always felt safe and comfortable, and were happy to come back after a long day of site seeing. I would definitely stay again if we were ever fortunate enough to return to Barcelona.
