H10 Montcada

What a great location to see sights from. Room was very clean, and quiet, although on a major street. Just a few blocks from the Main Church, sqares, walking mall, small sides streets. The english speaking staff were very courteous, and helpful for us. They kept our luggage until check in time, in a secure room. The next time we visit we will stay here. I have already reccomended the hotel to a fellow travler. As someone else already had mentioned, the breakfast was outstanding, and is still good. We were there in March 2009.

The location is amazing. Walking distance to everything. About 20min from the airport 23Euros. You can walk to the beach or take a taxi(5min,6Euros) to Icaria beach. You can walk to Las Ramblas(a beautiful and happening street). Don´t be afraid to walk around your hotel, there are amazing hidden street and Barcelona never sleeps so don´t even hink about coming home before 4am. PS: the reaon why I said it´s noisy is because we were on the 4th floor next to a very happening street but oh well get earplugs.

The staff was incredibly helpful. I read other reviews that it was a noisy area so I brought earplugs and had no problem.

It was a very enjoyable experience at the hotel. Very clean, and the hotel service staff and desk were great. Had no problems or difficulties at all. We even were allowed to leave our bags at the hotel for a couple of extra hours after check out. We could not be more please than what we had.

The rooms are nice - but the beds are small, so if you travel with a child you should arrange with the hotel before. (They´ll give you an extra bed in the room.) The terasse in the nineth floor ist really a great place to relax after walking yout feet off visting Barcelona.

I stayed at the H10 Montcada the night before and after a cruise. This hotel is right in the middle of the action in Barcelona yet very quiet. I stayed in room 703, the best room in the hotel..request it if you can. It is a corner room so you have a wonderful view of the city, breathtaking at night. The staff is very friendly; they allowed me to keep my luggage in the luggage room while I toured the city before my room was ready and after checkout time before my cruise. Las Ramblas is just two blocks over, Cappucino cafe right across the street, Starbucks down the street, and lots of shops. I plan on returning to Barcelona next year and will definetly stay at H10 Montcada. The only negative thing I can say about this hotel is the jacuzzi on the roof, it was cold, never got even warm.

The location was perfect. The staff took care of any problems we incurred with a smile. We would recommend the Hotel to all of our friends.

Located across from the Cathedral. Excellent Free Walking Tour included; free drink at rooftop bar daily; free museum tickets; great staff at front desk. Room had interesting layout: bath at one end, then a zigzag hallway with sitting area and the bedroom at the other end. Two flat screen tvs, a safe, and reading lights by the bed.

Single traveler here. LOved this hotel. Location is amazing across road from the subway and close to La Rambla. Such a frienly staff and so eager to help. Clean rooms and quite modern. THe room is not huge but it is not tiny either. Trust me, for a European city hotel, it is terrific! The roof terrace is gorgeous and the views are stunning. A free cocktail and glass of cava! Come on, what more could you ask for! And reat rates! Plus, they even gave me a Christmas card! LOVE this hotel.
