friends getaway
On arrival to the hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Entering the room a little dissapointing, bed not made up as it shld be, dressing gowns thrown at end of bed. Beautiful views from 15th floor. It was my bday, sstaff left cake and card in the room, restaurant on 23rd floor beautiful views, great food, good staff, again staff popped open a bottle of Moet champagne n brought a cake out with a candle. Nice touch!! Spa and swimming pool amazing! Very cheap! Overall a great experience and would I go again?? Absolutely 100%, bt pls just make room look more presentable and I would be extremely thankful!

Good hotel, Amenities Incorrectly advertised
Hotel is excellent. Breakfast is very good and the view from the restaurant is breathtaking. Very close to a main train/subway station. Internet was advertised on this website as free but the hotel did not think so. Eventually they gave it to me as a courtesy but said the online agency is wrong. Do not expect a concierge service if you are a tourist. Location is central but not in the tourist area.

First trip to Spain
We enjoyed this hotel very much. The hotel sits right across from Sants station which has connections to anywhere in the city. We even caught the train to penedes for a wine tour from there. The staff was professional. My only concern is that the housekeeper came into our room when we had the do not disturb sign up. Besides that everything was great.

Great Location next to major train station hub
The location is perfect. It's so easy to get around Barcelona by train, and this hotel is right next to one of the major hubs. Getting to and from the airport is easy as well by taking the R2 train. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are comfortable, clean, and spacious for a European hotel. We were on the 16th floor and had fabulous unobstructed view of Barcelona. My wife and I would definitely stay here again.

Purchase the T-10 pass for the Barcelona Metro if you plan on taking the metro everywhere. It's 92 cents a fare compared to a regular fare of 2 Euros.

Short metro ride to La Ramblas (the main tourist street for shopping, dining, and night life) Becareful not to rely on the metro after 1130 pm on week nights. Use a taxi its worth the money to get back to the hotel safe and sound.

The staff went out of their way to help. The location is right across from the train station and need a taxi to the Old town area. But the service was excellent.

The Santa Maria del Mar church is a must see! The Gotic Barri is awesome.
