Hotel was nice, room clean, good location. We took bus to get to La Rambla and the beach.

Gran Derby Suites Hotel Rooms
- Standard Duplex Room
- 32 m2 split-level rooms where the sitting room is on the lower floor and the bedroom on the upper floor. Ideal for those who want a sitting room set completely apart from the rest area, where you can cocoon yourself in comfort, away from the hustle and bustle of the large city, and luxuriate in a space decorated in the purest contemporary style.
- Junior Suite
- The Junior Suites have 30 m2 divided into two comfortable spacious areas in which to work and rest. With an avant-garde design and fine materials of the highest quality, these rooms are truly a delight for the senses. The fine woods, natural leathers, exquisite fabrics and spectacular bathrooms integrated perfectly into the space transport our guests to oriental ethnic ambiances in the heart of the city of Barcelona. The Junior Suites face the street Loreto.

Chique and not expensive
The Gran Derby Hotel is a very comfortable hotel between the Barcelona Sants Station and the center of the city. It's in a quiet neighbourhood with good busconnections so you can enjoy the city and have your rest aswell. I like the duplexrooms where you have your sleeping and sitting apart from eachother. Nice small swimmingpool, good breakfast, nice atmosphere. So a good hotel for a very good price!

Wenn man über [Website] bucht, bekommt man ein Zimmer der untersten Kategorie, das noch nicht renoviert ist. In dieser Kategorie gibt es zwei Arten. Man sollte sich für ein Zimmer mit zwei Ebenen entscheiden. Wir hatten eines, das ruhig nach innen gelegen war. Leider sind die Wände sehr dünn und die Nachbarn sehr gut zu hören. Das Frühstück hat uns aber sehr gefallen, und das Hotel ist alles in allem sehr schön.

Empfehlenswertes Hotel!
Sehr sauberes Hotel. Das Frühstücksbuffet bekamen wir für 10 EUR, empfehlenswert. In der Lobby steht ein PC mit Internet zur kostenlosen Benutzung (90 min. WLAN gab´s gratis auch im Zimmer), diverse Bars und Restaurants in nächster Nähe. Die Rezeption ist immer besetzt. Trotz dass das Hotel nicht in der Innenstadt liegt ist alles prima zu erreichen. Die nächste Metro Station ist ca. 10 min Fußweg und gut zu finden (L5 - Hospital Clinic). Alternativ fahren Busse vor der Tür, die haben wir jedoch nicht benutzt. Dieses Hotel gerne wieder!

Richtung Metrostation Hospital Clinic gibt es ein empfehlenswertes japanisches Restaurant (Tayo) mit Buffet, alles frisch für wenig Euro. Schmeckt wie in Japan!
