Eurostars Ramblas Boqueria

Hotel is directly on the Ramblas, immediately in front of the market. Great location for walking about or accessing public transportation. The entrance to the Metro is perhaps 150 feet from the front door of the hotel. Be sure to ask for a room in the back (less noise) and, if possible, a corner room. Corner rooms are larger and have French doors with small balconies both side and back. Hotel has maintenance issues. We had to move rooms because the French doors in original room would not stay closed. Strangely, if you want to open and close your French doors, you have to ask the front desk for a handle. In our new room, the air-conditioning did not work, although to the hotel's credit, a repair person was called immediately and the problem fixed the same day. The rooms are modern and reasonably well equipped for a three star hotel. The one glaring exception was that, although the bathroom was well-sized, with plenty of room, there was no shelf for toilet items. Although the hotel claims to have English language television available, the only English language TV stations were the National Geographic channel and one channel of old movies. No news, no sports. The hotel also claims internet access, but the wireless would not reach our room - or others, based on the people using their laptops in the second floor lobby area.

This hotel was very clean and in a great location. Everything was so accessible by the two metro stops close by on las ramblas. Having the boqueria right next door made for a great, inexpensive breakfast every morning. We felt very safe in this hotel, but it was very noisy at night. People stay out on las ramblas all hours of the night and we found it hard to sleep with the street noise. This would be a better hotel if the noise could be blocked out.

In a good central area but a lot of foot traffic and street noise. It was clean and room was decent size for one person. Doors opening to the street view was nice. There is usually one staff member at the door, not to helpful for figuring out local things to do.

The hotel & staff was very nice. The location of the hotel is a nice jumping off spot to everywhere. This was our second trip to Barcelona, the first time we stay further out and had to travel to everything. We wanted to stay in the heart of the City on this trip, however it was very loud (we were there during the festival Sept. 24 - 28) very late at night. It probably wouldn be that loud normally. i would definitely recommend this hotel for a young hip couple (or single person) that wanted to take in the night life all night.

The hotel is right on top of la Boqueria and in the middle of La Rambla. It is a great location for bars, restaurants, sights, and public transportation. The beds were also as comfortable as any we've ever slept in at a hotel. There aren't a lot of amenities, but you don't need them when you have so much around you. The bathroom was a little weird, but the room was still very comfortable and a great place to stay if you want to be in a great location in Barcelona.

Loved the location, right on Las Ramblas and next to Boqueria Market. There's a metro stop right in front of the hotel and the Teatre de Liceu is only two min. walk from the hotel. I strongly suggest that for those that want to go to the Market get there when it opens at 7am, it's worth getting up. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, especially when it came to needing to make our dinner reservations. I stayed here with a friend and after coming from a Ibiza, this was a great place to stay. The beds were comfortable, the room was spacious and modern. My friend and I loved the view. Our room view looked directly out onto the street. The only noise that we heard were the cheers during the world cup. We did not do the breakfast at the hotel, but it looked good. I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends.

reception good but not very helpful, rooms a bit small, windows to main street locked fire risk?

A great place for a good price.Though,the hotel is along the busy street of La Rambla,the noise is well concealed that you'll have a good night sleep every night.And the location is just great-near to restaurants,a walking distance to some of tourist attractions including the bus stops of tour bus,not to mention the famous boqueria food market is just around the corner.

The staff was helpful, the room was nice and clean, and the location is perfect! Definitely a prime hotel for tourists in Barcelona. The only complaints I have are the smell (all of Barcelona is stinky though) and the water didnt get very warm in the bathroom.

There are two Eurostars Ramblas, make sure you check the address. We arrived at the port and taxis did not want to take us. They said it was easier to walk. To the first maybe, the second, not so. Hotel is nothing special, but a good location. Also note, Taxis charge Euro five if called early (the evening before) but at 7:30AM when we left there were 3 waiting.
