Fantastic hotel on the northern
Fantastic hotel on the northern side of Barcelona but with brilliant Metro and bus connections. Quiet area, but not deserted (we walked from a bus-stop after midnight and still saw plenty of people, so felt safe). Ideal for short breaks, close to good bakeries (for breakfast) and reasonably close to restaurants for meals or late coffees after staying in town. Would stay here any time and wholeheartedly recommend to others.

Good hotel but needs some TLC
PLUSES: Great location. 1-2 minutes walk from line 7 of the metro. Clean comfortable bedding. Free internet. English speaking friendly young man at check in. MINUSES: The shower temperature control was the worst I have ever seen anywhere. Could not keep a comfortable water temperature during the shower and it fluctuated between very cold to very hot within seconds. . Some bleach is needed for cleaning the shower since mold was clearly visible everywhere. Needs TLC. Managemnt needs to contract a handy man to go room by room and fix the un-sightly broken items. In our room # 107, one tile was totally missing and the bathroom vanity had pieces of wood missing. For not much money they could add another star to the hotel.

Short walk from hotel
Avoid the nearby restaurant "El Teu Kebak" on Ronda Del General Mitre. Got cash stolen frem me by staff.

Not too bad for this price
Staff on reception was very helpful and friendly, they spoke very good English. But cleaner threw away my personal things which she shouldn't be touching at all. ( I left my plastic bags in little cupboard close to the bed. I was planning to pack my clothes back in there and my bag for liquids was there too. But dirty cup she didn't wash. I was very disappointed.) Location is good. Close to metro station.

A nice hotel with modern rooms
A nice hotel with modern rooms and good facilities. Staff were helpful and friendly. The main downside to this hotel is the location. It is outside of central Barcelona, and we needed to catch the Metro everywhere. The closest Metro stop is approx 15mins walk away. The hotel itself was very nice, and had the location been better we would have been very pleased. Nevertheless, we would return if in Barcelona again.

bon choix
L'hôtel est un peu décentré mais très accessible avec le métro et, se rendre au centre ville est très rapide. Le quartier et l'hôtel sont très calmes. Je suis très satisfaite d'avoir choisi cet établissement.

Low budget but excellent and price-worthy
We booked this hotel for a romantic Pentecost weekend: 3 nights. For the low budget hotel prices we had expected a very small and simple room, but behold! : a clean and large room with a good bed and nice sanitary equipment: toilet, bidet, shower, bathtub+whirlpool ... Room properly cleaned daily. Lobby modern and tasteful (like barcelona itself); open till late. Lots of marble floors. Excellent breakfast suitable for various national tastes (French, German, English) - friendly and sympathetic service, helpful desk personel, who advise you on the city, who book reservations for you, do their best to give you the best possible extra pillows if you need them ... The hotel is very near metrostop El Putxet less than 20 min from Plaça Catalunya. Parc Guell even at walking distance. In short, great hotel ! How can the price per night (€60) be so low? Can recommend this one to everyone. M & K, the Netherlands
