This hotel is well located if you are willing to do some walking you can access many of Barcelona's treasures.

good value for your money. The staff also spoke English. They accomodated our requests reasonably well.

This hotel is modern, clean and in a great location for touring Barcelona. We were in our room in Nov 2008,the temperature outside ranged from low 40F to mid 50F, upon arriving to the room the whole fifth floor seemed excessively hot. When we opened the door the room was in excess of 85 degrees F. When we tried to start the air conditioner nothing happened. We called the desk and was informed they don't run A/C after the summer months and all we could do was shut the heat completely, and open the window. The hotel and this room faced a main city street so you can imagine the noise level with the window open. Even after several hours with the window open we could not cool the room down.Over the course of four days we complained several times but were never offered a solution. Our other complaint was the shower, it is set up in a way which makes it virtualy impossible to shower with out flooding the bathroom floor.

The Eurostars Laietana Palace is very well located. It is close to the cathedral and metro and just a few streets over from the main pedestrian street Las Ramblas. The room was not large but it was very clean and quite acceptable. Wireless internet is available but expensive. However, there is free internet access from a PC in the lobby. It's a 5 Euro cab fare from Placa Catalunya (where the airport bus stops).

The staff was very helpful and spoke English. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was not as convenient to shopping and on a noisy street but within walkable distance for healthy individuals. The breakfast meal was not of good quality. Only one computer is available near the bar which I never saw open. All in all a clean, friendly place but no real incentive to stay here again.

This hotel was a great for the money and for the location. I would def. reccomend tyo my family or friends.

The location is perfect.. located a few blocks from La Rambla or the main pier area. Mass transit is also within a block or two, including tours and the Metro. The room was a little small, but for the location and price, perfect. The free internet was a nice surprise as well as the really friendly staff. The feel reminded me of a NY hotel.

The Laietana Palace was well located for touring Barcelona, close to the main tourist area and also at a metro stop for going farther afield. Good restaurants were within walking distance. The staff was always ready to help with reservations too. And the hotel was on the parade route. The only disclaimer is that the room was very small.

this hotel was very small for the money. You had to climb over the bed to get to the window. The only good thing about the room was the bath except there were no wash cloths.

Hotel bien placé dans la vieille ville mais surclassé. Les porte-serviettes ne tiennent pas au mur. les séches cheveux sont vieux. Si vous etes sur la via Laietenia le bruit est difficilement supportable. Le personnel fait le ménage le matin dans un vacarme indigne de ce classement. Le rapport qualité/prix est mauvais. Désolé.
